The Geek, the Freak, the Nerd!
POV.
It was an ordinary day in Hawkins. As ordinary as it can be. The day we explore the aftermath of the new world and the move on with the past explosions and bad luck always happening in the town of Hawkins.
It was a normal day for me. Got up walked to school, took my first class, biology and now first break. I not much into socialising with anyone so I sit on a table by myself with a group of chatty people talking closely one another. Backs turned to me to shut me out as I am aware that I am not part of their group. Everyone from school was in the dining hall where it was all noisy and very crowded.
I look over and see a kid. The kid that sits with a group of people but looks so alone. He's not paying attention to his friends. He looks my direction and I smile. He doesn't smile back and take back my attention to my drawing pad in front of me. My famous pad which I never leave out my site. Too much hard work with portraits of famous people, strangers and people around school. I was finishing my last touches when a load noise came from one table. I directed my eyes in the direction when the noise was coming from and there he was. Eddie Munson. The schools geek, nerd and freak.
He Stood his ground like he owned the table. Like he owned the place. Shouting out to other people on different tables. I couldn't help but smile like a Cheshire Cat as he makes fun of the popular crew and then the basket hall team. He makes a face to the basketball cap and In my direction looked straight at me. I giggled looking down nervously. I could tell he was looking back. Smiling as he was alway the gentlemen.
He would always have his little moments whenever I was around or in the same room. I was so nervous to speak to him to scared to say hello but, one day I was gonna make that day happen. I kept to myself with my thoughts and carried on with my day. Taking a little note inside my book. 'Speak to Eddie Munson' above the notes, 'make out with Eddie Munson'.
I wish that day so much I wish I was confident enough to speak to him but all I can do is wait till that moment happens. Till I finally get time alone with him.
