"Please promise you will come back Kanae.." Shinobu said, Kanae pinky promised Shinobu, "Of course I promise!" Kanae kissed Shinobu's forehead. Kanae went to go tell Kanao too, Kanae then left for her mission.
Shinobu POV I hope Kanae doesn't get all that hurt that she has to quit.. I'll protect her at all cost! I continued to get lost in my thoughts, I kept hearing someone calling my name, but I was just too worried and lost in my thoughts, eventually the voice got louder and I snapped out of it. I turned my head, it was Douma calling my name, he was close to my face with a worried expression. He said, "Shinobu-Chan are you ok??" I replied, "Erm..yea just thinking is all.." I starred at him, how obnoxiously close he is to my face. Suddenly I hear, "Shinobu-Chan, your acting off! Are your user your ok, your starring at me for awhile now?" Douma said. I immediately turn away and my cheeks turn red from embarrassment, yea, embarrassment. "Yea I'm fine! I don't need to keep saying it.." I refused to look at him, I'm worried about Kanae but I just have this odd feeling in me as well.
"Shinobu-channnnn, why won't you look at meee..I liked it when you were starring at me, and I love seeing your pretty face~" Douma said as he kept poking my cheeks, I immediately turned my face further from his turning more red, "W-well I hate seeing yours!" I didn't mean to say that, as well aggressively, I don't know what the heck is going on with me..especially this stupid feeling in me! "Oh.." Douma said in a sad low tone, he looked down at the floor, I could tell in his voice he was starting to cry..again. He's such a fricking crybaby, sometimes it's cute..NO!! Nothing about him is cute! What am I thinking! But I do love his eyes..Oh my gosh stop! What is happening to me! "Um, I-I didn't mean to say that.." Douma looked at me, his whole face was red and crying, ugh he even had snot..gross..I didn't have control over my own body, I hugged Douma and he gave me a tight hug back placing his arms around my waist, "I didn't mean to say that, ugh, I'm just not feeling myself..I'm sorry." Douma crying, "I-it's ok Shinobu-Chan, I thought you hated me.." Douma said. I replied, "I don't hate you..it's rare to find me hating someone.." Douma and I continued to hug, Douma breaks the hug "Shinobu-chan, I want to get to more about you..!" Douma said to me with his eyes locked into mine, his face was slightly red on his cheeks, I turned a bit red and looked away, "I-I'm fine with that..." I said.
Regular POV
Douma and Shinobu go out to benches in the mansion for breakfast, seeing Iguro and Mitsuri together on one of them. They sat down on one side of the benches, they had rice balls, sushi, and water. "So uh, what did you want to get to know more of.." Shinobu said, "More about you!" Douma said, she said, "No duh! I meant what about me!" "Well let's maybe start about childhood?" Douma said, "Alright I guess, I'll start. I grew up with a very loving family, me and Kanae were stuck to each other, inseparable. Our mother was very pretty just like Kanae. We loved our parents, then one peaceful day, our parents were brutally murdered by a demon. Then a tall, blind man, who we know now as Himejima Gyomei, a man I respected then and now till this day, he's always been like a father figure to me and he cared very much about us, saved our lives and brought us to the Demon Slayer Corps, Kanae and I promised we would avenge them, we were born so short and weak, especially me, but we promised we would do our very best to become strong. We trained hard and joined the Demon Slayer Corps, I was 14 then and she was 17. A few months later, we were walking near a bridge and found this slaved girl tied to a rope, being held by this old cruel man holding her on the rope. Kanae and I rescued the girl and brought her to the mansion, we cleaned and fed her, that girl is Kanao. Our younger sister. I will protect Kanae and Kanao with my own life, they are the only family I have left, though I value my close friends such as Muichiro he is like a son to me, Sanemi and Iguro who are like brothers to me, Mitsuri another sister, Gyomei a father." Shinobu told.
