Shuji grunted when he heard the alarm from his cell phone blaring in the space of his bedroom.
Yet again, he forgot to turn off the 'every day' button in the alarm settings. It was a Sunday, there was no need for him to wake up so early, classes will not be held on that very day either.
It will be pointless for him to wake up in such an early morning on a day when he has been given the time to rest. The weekends are the perfect time for him to sleep extra hours after having sleeping deprivation for the past few weeks since the assignments that were given for his class are bombarding endlessly.
To make matters even worse is that the alarm was not a normal beautiful tune like most people will have...out of all the sounds that he had set for his phone alarm, the idiot choose the sound of crows squawking.
So the room was filled with that particular sound blaring mercilessly inside his room like he just had a murder of crows invading it. It is killing him inside and making him lose his mind, guess they were called 'murder' for a reason.
So what else that Shuji needed to do then?
The most logical answer is to get his to stretch his long arms to the table near his bed, where his phone was situated, quickly dismiss the alarm and go back to crashing on the bed.
But is that really what he'll do?
No.
Of course, not.
Instead, he moved his body to lay on his side and pulled the pillow that was resting on his head to cover his ears. His feet were kicking the sheets aggressively because he was so exasperated that the image of him hammering his phone was the only thing roaming in his head.
"Shut the fuck up!" he cussed with a loud tone and yet his voice was still raspy, maybe because he drooled a lot from his sleep.
God, please have mercy.
This will be the only time that Shuji will be religious or call for God, the circumstance is when he is unlucky.
But speaking of luck, Shuji remembered back about what happened yesterday.
How lucky he is that someone was nice enough to have his back.
He thought he will be sitting in the police station while the cashier will go on constantly shit talking about him to everyone that he can find in that place but....that never happens.
It was solely because someone mysterious saved him last night.
He wonders if he gets to find out who that person was since they look unfamiliar to him and it seems like the person is a new face in this part of the streets.
Even if Shuji just moved in 4 months ago, he is an observant person. He can easily detect if there someone's new or not in that place or just a random passerby that might visit the streets again or not in the future.
