    Chapter 5, Gushing Out Details
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   " Ew, stop flirting with my mom. "
     ~ Aurelia's POV ~
             After we went to the diner and had filled our stomachs with whatever we desired, we went our separate ways to go home.
     I didn't want to spend the night at anyone's house since I wanted to tell my mom about Miguel, although we had just met, my heart was still booming at the interaction, was that normal?
      Angie decided to come with me because she had forgotten her spare glasses in my bedroom, we biked home slowly because of our sore muscles and walked into the house sluggishly.
   I walked upstairs and was in dire need of a shower, so I grabbed a clean towel and some fresh pajamas before walking out of my bedroom and into the bathroom.
    I stripped my cold, damp clothes off my body before turning on the water and quickly moving the nozzle to the warm side, I touched the water with my foot to check if it was warm enough before getting inside.
    I washed my hair, shaved my legs and exfoliated my body just because I wanted to feel really clean once I get out of the shower, I wanted to take my time since I've spent all day at the pool.
     Getting chlorine off of my body wasn't difficult but I just wasn't ready to come out of the very warm shower, eventually my skin began to prune up which meant it was time to get out of the bath.
    I usually wait until my fingers prune up because once it's all dry and normal, my hands are baby smooth but that might just work for me.
      I dried my body and hair, making sure I was bone dry before putting on my pajamas and brushing my hair back into a nice, loose ponytail.
    Before I left the bathroom, i felt a wave of sleepiness wash over me and I knew that I wouldn't be able to spill anything about Miguel if I felt half dead.
        So i did my night routine skincare and then brushed my teeth, I walked downstairs and smiled as Angie was talking to Venus.
     That was something I admired from my best friend, she just somehow connected with my family quickly and she would always find a way to get them to connect to her as well.
      "Angie, you're welcomed to spend the night if you're too tired to go home."
    I offered as I walked over to the kitchen, I was a little hungry and wanted a snack before I went to bed.
     "Uhm sure, I'll go take a shower and then we can go straight to bed."
     Angie said before hugging Venus and walking upstairs, all of my friends had spare clothes here since we're always sleeping over at one another's house.
     Everyone practically lived here if you checked my closet and drawers, everything was a mix of Val, Ky, Marcy and Angie's clothing items.
      Venus was sat on couch, I walked over to her and smiled before looking at the tv to check out she was watching.
     She was watching Chowder again, it's been her favorite show so I couldn't really tell her to watch something else, like I said, our relationship with each other wasn't that good but it wasn't horrible either.
     "Vee, aren't you tired of this show?"
    I asked curiously, the show was quite entertaining but I couldn't see how she could just sit here and binge watch this show all day, Venus just looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.
    I didn't want to press her on anything else, so I told her goodnight and walked upstairs.
       Angie takes about a two hour shower so it was best if I left my nightlight on and got into bed, I'd be asleep by the time she comes out anyways so it made no sense waiting for her if I was just gonna end up knocked out.
    Once my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light with the warmth of my blankets and the fluffiness of my pillows.
     When I get up in the morning, I'd tell my mom every detail that had happened today, she was going to hear it one way or another.
   Besides, she's the one who constantly keeps me in the loop with her love life, I don't ask for it but I'm in the loop anyways.
    Lucky me, right?
     After a good night's rest, I was energized in the morning so I rushed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and look a little decent before telling my mom about my future husband.
   I walked out of the bathroom and rushed downstairs to see Angie try to flirt with my mom, for about the billionth time this lifetime.
    " Ew, stop flirting with my mom. "
         I gagged as I walked to the kitchen and sat down at the table, Angie laughed and walked over to me to give me a hug and greet me.
    My mom chuckled and rolled her eyes playfully, Angie never really tried to get with my mom, she just compliments my mom and then talks to me about it.
       Venus was probably still asleep, sometimes when my friends get along with my sister better than I do, I get a little bit jealous only because I know that we wouldn't have a good connection.
   There was a reason for that, but you're not ready for that explanation right now since it's still early.
      "His hair was beautiful, when he came out of the pool, it was like in slow motion like in the summer movies."
      I began to drool over the image in my mind, I had began to tell my mom about Miguel and like usual she had hyped me up and began to ask questions about the boy.
   Angie was just sipping her hot chocolate and watching us as we began to squeal when I told her that I got his phone number.
     "So his name is Miguel, and you believe that this boy will be your future husband?"
         My mom asked, I nodded my head confidently although there was no telling if we'd actually end up together considering we just met and there's a slight chance he's dating someone else.
     I took a sip from my juice and got up from the table after explaining, have you ever met a cute guy and he talks to you so you think y'all are gonna end up together and get married?
      Because that's all that's happening right now, even though I don't really believe in love at first sight.
    It's just the way that Miguel carries himself, he's like a gentleman but you could tell that from a mile away.
     "But, you don't even believe in love at first sight? What's got the change of heart?"
      My mom asked me as she followed me to the living room, Angie walked to the kitchen to do the dishes even though we didn't really ask her to, she just does it because she needs something to do when she's bored.
   Now how am I supposed to answer that question, I don't even know how to answer that question nor do I have any clues on how to answer that question.
    "I don't know, maybe I just find him attractive but I don't want to be with him."
       I answered, Venus had woken up and she walked to the kitchen to get some cereal before she walks back to her bedroom to do some special assignments her teachers had assigned her.
    Venus smiled at me and waved before going to the dining room and eating her cereal silently.
    "Well, this was a nice chat but I'm gonna take Angie home before she pops of boredom."
      I told my mom before grabbing Angie's hand and walking her upstairs so she could change her clothes, I changed my outfit as well.
      As I changed my clothes, I kept thinking about the fact that I might not really like the boy and just found him attractive because a lot of times people confuse having a crush on someone with finding that person pretty.
      I'll figure this out later.
