" It's all fun and games until someone cracks their head open like a walnut and gets sent to the emergency room. "

    ~ Aurelia's POV ~

My legs were pretty tired from swinging on these swings, the sun was beaming down pretty hard on us but we tried to ignore it and continue to play at the park.
We haven't been here for a while and we sort of missed being here, there was so many memories here including the first time I cracked my head open on the monkey bars cause I wanted to swing upside down.

"Rei, remember when you cracked your head here?"

Val asked as she pointed to the monkey bars, I nodded with a chuckle and walked towarsds the bar to relive the memory.
Well, I was about to when Marceline grabbed my hand and shook her head.

"Come on Marcy, it'll be so fun!"

I whined as I tried to walk back to the monkey bars only for Marcy to tighten her grip on my hand and pull me to the seesaw, Marceline looked at me and shook her head.

" It's all fun and games until someone cracks their head open like a walnut and gets sent to the emergency room. "

Marceline said dryly, I sighed knowing that she was right and got on the seesaw correctly.
Angie got on the other side and we began to play on the seesaw, I was sweating like crazy under this heat that when I got up from the seesaw seat, it sound like tape being removed satisfyingly.

My shorts were damp and I hated the feeling of my clothes sticking to my skin, it makes me want to jump off of a cliff or jump in front of a freight train but what can you do?

  Aurelia's Outfit

My hair was now in a ponytail, I was standing around trying not to die with the heat wave that was going on.
Almost everyone was sweating like pigs cause of the heat, but somehow nobody wanted to leave, only because this was our only plan and we didn't have a back up one.

"Hey, the pool's open today, we should go there and cool down."

      Kyla suggested, nobody even disagreed.
We all ran to our bikes and began to ride to our houses just to switch out of our nasty, sweaty outfits and into our swim wear.
