"Good morning, baby blue." the older woman smiled at her granddaughter.

"Morning." The young girl mumbled.

Blue jones wasn't like everyone else at Beverly. She didn't come from money. Blue grew up with drug-addicted parents. She only came live with her grams two years ago.

" honey, I have a long day, so you'll probably be alone tonight."

"That's fine." Said with a smile.

Blues call mom was always working. Her grandma was a famous actor Chrissy Tyler.

"You look lost," greeting a boy she's never seen before.

" yeah." He laughed a little. " you Beverly-"

"Hold up." She interrupted him. " don't group me in with these Beverly people."

Beverly was in a bad school. Blue even enjoyed attending sometimes.

" my bad." He smiled. " so, where you from?"

" Pittsburgh. I moved with my grandma a couple of years ago." She could tell by the look in his eye he wanted to know more, so she told him. " my parents are drug addicts. They've been in and out of rehab my whole life."

"Damn. I'm so sorry." He paused, realizing they never introduced themselves. " I'm Spencer."

She smiled. A real genuine smile. " I'm blue."

" Blue. Honey, I got a call about the Crenshaw house. The new tenants are complaining about the fence. Sadly I'm stuck at work if you could help me out."

Blue ended the voicemail early. Her grandfather was a successful real estate agent. He even owned a couple of houses that they rented out. Sadly he died four years ago, leaving all the work to her grandmother.

" thank you for coming down," The woman who lived in the house spoke.

" no problem, ma'am. Someone will give you a call regarding the fence."

She better lady goodbye we're for making her way to the car. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Spencer.

" Spencer." She called his name, hoping she wasn't about to get ignored.

" Blue? What are you doing here?" He jogged over to her with someone following him.

"My grandma owns this house." Pointing to the grey-ish building behind her.

"Who's this?" Spencer's company asked.

"I'm blue."

"Coop."

Blue wasn't sure what to think of coop. It was apparent the girl and Spencer were close, but the tension between them was intense.

" I was wondering if you were going back to Beverly tonight. Um, my grams is still on set."

"Are you asking if you can stay?"

Spencer was almost dumbfounded by the question seeing they had only met a couple of hours before. But the look on her face made Spencer feel like she needed a friend more than anything.

"Sure. I'll have to talk to my moms first."

Blues face lit up with pure happiness. She quickly rushed over to tell her driver he was good to leave and to grab her bag.

" what? I never leave home without it."

Spencer laughed at the girl, thinking he was questioning the bag on her shoulder and not her driver.

" come on, blue Jay." He pulled the happy girl along.

Blue never made any real friends since moving to Beverly, and she's glad Spencer is the first.
