𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐫 (𝕊𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖)

6 - Canteen

Riddhima was working upon her laptop. All employees were given some work to complete. Her work was almost done and now it was lunch break. Everyone started to come out of their cabinet and moved towards canteen. All started to mingle with each other, some even became friends. Riddhima was still inside her cabinet as she didn't want to mingle with others.

Veer and Vihaan usually used to do their lunch in Veer's cabin only, but today Veer decided to go to the canteen. That's why Veer and Vihaan were walking towards canteen. When they came out of cabin, they saw that lights of all the cabinets were off except one. They were confused because it was lunch break so everyone should be in the canteen.

Veer: It's lunch time, so why is light of that cabinet is on? Whose cabinet is that? (He asked with frowned eyebrows)

Vihaan: Bhai, I guess that is Miss Riddhima's cabinet. I think she forgot to switch off the light. (He said in uncertainty)

Veer: How careless. Let's go. (They were about to go, when they heard some voice coming from her cabinet)

Veer: Is there anyone in her cabinet? (He asked with confused face)

Vihaan: I don't know bhai. Let it be. Let's go to the canteen.

Veer: No. Let's see who is there in her cabinet during lunch break. (They moved towards her cabinet)

When they reached there they saw that Riddhima was talking to someone on her phone. They saw her smiling and laughing. Riddhima's back was facing towards door, so she didn't notice them.

Riddhima: I love you too baby. (She kissed her phone and cut the call)

Veer and Vihaan were shocked to listen her. Vihaan cleared his throat to catch her attention. She looked back and was surprised to see them standing there, her smile immediately vanished and converted into neutral face. She got up from her chair.

Riddhima: Sir. You both here? Is there any work? (She asked in professional tone)

Vihaan: No. It was.. (Veer cut him off in middle)

Veer: No. We were just walking towards the canteen, but stopped when we saw your cabinet's light was on. We just came here to check. But why are you still in your cabinet. Don't you want to go to the canteen? (He wanted to ask to whom she was talking on her phone, but refused because that would be unprofessional)

Riddhima: No, I am not hungry. I would like to stay here only. (She said simply)

Veer: But I would not appreciate that. I don't want my employees to remain starve. Come with us to the canteen.

Vihaan was shocked to listen Veer, because he never cared what employees do or not do as far as it's not affecting his business. But right now he was asking his new employee to come to the canteen with him because he didn't want her to remain starve. Although he was shocked, but internally he was happy because his brother was changing a little.

Riddhima: No, it's ok sir. I am not hungry. You both go and eat. (She said with stern face)

Veer: I don't like to take no as an answer. You are coming and that's final. (He said with same stern face)

Both looked into each other's eyes. Riddhima wanted to protest, but as it was her first day in office, she didn't want to create unnecessary drama. So she nodded her head in agreement.

Veer started walking towards canteen, Vihaan was behind him and Riddhima was walking behind Vihaan.

When they reached in the canteen, everyone was chit-chatting amongst themselves. Sana was also sitting there with Riya. When everyone saw Veer there, they got surprised because he never had lunch in canteen. Veer walked in canteen and sat on a chair. Vihaan sat beside him. Riddhima was still standing beside them.
