Warning- Suicide
Aoyama is the first to ask Shouto the question everyone is thinking. "Mon ami, what happened to you?" He walks over to Shouto and gives him reassuring circles on his back. The act helps Shouto calm down a bit and helps him think clearly. Shouto clears his throat and hesitantly explains what happened to him. "I.... I was experimented on. He-They kept injecting fluids into me to see what would happen, and how my body reacted. I believe I was being filmed. I'm not allowed to say anything else." "And why not?" Interrupts Hagakure. "Hagakure! Stop! Can't you tell he's not comfortable talking about the rest? Just drop it." Ojiro says sternly. "Fuck off Ojiro you cunt! You stay out of this, this isn't your business!" Hagakure argues back. Shouto warily looks down, fear and anxiety written on his face. Aoyama hands Shouto the baby, and blocks Hagakure trying to get to Shouto. "Get out of my way Aoyama." Hagakure angrily bares her teeth and clenches her fists. "Non! I will not. You get away from him." Aoyama states calmly. Eijiro runs towards Hagakure and picks her up and throws her over his shoulder. "Eijiro! Put me down!" She hits his back. "No! I'm sorry but I think everyone here agrees that you're acting a little pushy right now." "Eijiro you fucking-" Hagakure starts but temporarily gets knocked out by Ojiro. "I knew Kendo's trick would come in handy sooner or later....." Ojiro mutters to himself. "Sorry about that bro, don't know what's gotten into Hagakure but I'm sure there's a rational explanation for thi-" Eijiro gets cut off. "Because she's the UA traitor....." Shouto whispers, starring in awe at the baby in his arms. He boops the newborns nose lightly with one of his claws and it giggles. I guess it makes sense why she seemed so on edge when Shouto turned out to be alive. Shouji thinks. He hears Ojiro stumble a bit. "You sure you're okay Ojiro? I can always help you out some more." Shouji suggests. "Oh um....no I'm good." Ojiro turns his head and flushes in embarrassment. "Well if what Shouto says is true then, we should probably leave her here right?" Eijiro questions a lilt in his tone. "I mean....probably but at the same time....is this really the right choice?" Ojiro thinks out loud. "We should leave her here." Shouji says, quickly making up his mind. "Mmmyeah I agree with Shouji." Eijiro agrees. Aoyama and Shouto are the ones who are still thinking. They both agree with Shouji. Ojiro, still hesitant makes up his mind that he will stay behind with Hagakure. "You have 45 minutes left." The staticky voice says.
"Alright that's one person who will stay behind." Eijiro says. "Two actually." Ojiro corrects. "Huh?" "What?" "Eh?" "?" Everyone turns to Ojiro. "Listen, I'm not a really good hero, and my mom is dying so, yeah....I'm staying." "I.....uh......" Eijiro starts but can't quite find the words. How am I supposed to respond to this? How is anyone supposed to respond to this?! "Uh.....do you want to talk about this? You sure you're doing good bro?" Shouji asks concern laced in his voice. "I know what I want and I've made up my mind. I'm staying." Ojiro says agitated. "Okay.....so as I was saying that's two people who will stay behind. Now I have a feeling that we all agree the child is going to be one of the people leaving this place. So....Aoyama, Shouji, Shouto and I need to decide who stays and who goes." Eijiro continues. Aoyama grabs Shouji and Eijiro and whispers to both of them, "I think we should let Shouto leave as well. Something tells me his mental 'ealth won't last longer 'ere." "Yeah.....I agree. He's been through enough already. He really should leave." Shouji agrees. Eijiro breathes out a heavy sigh and nods his head in agreement. The question remains....who will be the last person to leave? The three think.
"23 minutes remain."
"Okay how are we going to decide on this? Who will stay? And who will leave?" Eijiro asks. "Maybe....let someone else decide like Shouto?" Ojiro muttered under his breath.
"This is getting interesting isn't it 'Toshi? All they've done this entire time is argue. It's interesting how they all unanimously agreed on the previous four, yet they argue on who will be the last to leave....." Shinso climbs into his Master's lap. His master lifts his hand and gently cups Shinso's face. His master chuckles at Shinso's neediness. "Do you think Eijiro will do it?" Shinso asks. "We can't tell now. It's his choice. Besides, I made him an offer, kill someone and you'll get the antidote to the 'poison' that I injected into you. Simple."
"You're being unreasonable, Eijiro! It feels like you're not telling us something!" Shouji shouts at his colleague. "You wouldn't understand! I have something I need to do for me! Something awful!" Eijiro shouts back, tears forming in his eyes. He pulls out a knife. " I met the person behind all of this! He injected poison into me! I have to kill one of you to get the antidote! So please, Aoyama, stand still!" Eijiro lunges at the French man and pins him to the ground. The knife dangerously close to Aoyama's throat. Shouji tries to run to break up the fight. But Shouto blocks the path, telling him "It's not your fight, it's theirs." "What the fuck do you mean? Aoyama's gonna die! I have to save him!" Shouji protests. Aoyama blocks Eijiro's knife by grabbing the blade, cutting his hand open as blood slowly drips onto his face. "Hngg....Eijiro stop please!" Aoyama pleads. Eijiro starts to cry, hesitantly he takes the blade away from Aoyama's throat. "I-I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" Eijiro's voice cracks. "I don't know what came over me. It's clear to me now that..." he pauses, "....that I cannot leave this place, ever." He raises the blade to his own throat and stabs it. Eijiro's corpse falls onto Aoyama. Shouji runs over and helps Aoyama up. He glances over at the knife lodged in Eijiro's throat and can see the end of the knife coming out of the back his neck.
"Hahahahaha! That idiot! There never was any poison! Hahahaha! It was a lie! Hahahaha!" The speaker crackled to life. Shouji glares at the speaker, while Aoyama begins to cry. "Anyways...you have 3 minutes left."
Hey! So this chapter may not make a lot of sense and is probably all over the place and seems a bit rushed, which is why I'm dividing this chapter into 2 parts. I realize that a lot of people don't like things being divided into parts but in order for the ending not seem rushed, this is the compromise. I need more time to think of a proper ending. And decide on what will happen next.
Also by the way, who do you think will be the last to survive? Genuinely curious.
