After half a decade

" Mom i don't have a good feeling about this, can we go back to LA " I ask my mom. She grabs my arm and says " Lise you need not worry, you've been here until your 5th grade " Mom says.

" Mom but that's middle school, now I'm in high school . I am a sophomore now . I don't remember anyone " I say in a disappointed tone. " Don't worry hon, Avlin and Arnie , joined the summer school for you " Mom said.

I sat back in disappointment, " They are my problem. I didn't even make a single call to them, after I left in 5th grade. I was a terrible friend to them, but still why did they join summer school for me " I thought. The car stopped in front of Fort Walton Beach High School, Destin, Florida.

I was bron and grown in Destin, I was living a happy life here. But, my dad got transferred to LA. Then I concentrated on my singing career. I released my first album, in mid January . I'm finally done with promotions, I got a break. My mom insisted that, I need to spend my summer in Florida like she always do.

I got down from the car, " Bye lise, have fun " My mom said through the window. " Bye mom " I said giving a fake smile, to cover up my tense. I took a deep breath , standing in front for the gate.

I walked through the hallway, mostly everyone were inside the classes. There was a guy, in red facing towards the locker. " Umm excuse me " I called out. He turned back, he was tall with big boby and freaking handsome. He didn't speak anything, he was just staring at me. " Can you tell me where is the physic class " I asked.

He was silent was moment, " Lise!!! " He exclaimed. I took a moment to recognise him " Avlin " I said in a surprised tone. He hugged me and lifted me up. " Gosh put me down " I said. He put me down and caught my hand. " How have you been " He asked excitedly. " I'm good, what about you " I asked.

" Great, I've missed you a lot. I heard a lot about you from Evelyn every time she visited for summer. I waited every summer for you " He said. " I know, even I wanted to come. But I was busy with my music classes every summer " I said. As much I wanted come back here, I wished more than that to become a singer. So I signed up for music classes every Summer, in past half decade.

" Your debut album is dope, your every famous here " He said. I smiled at him, " Wait have you seen Arnie yet " He asked . I nodded, no. " Fine, he's in class let's go " Avlin said.

He was walking me to the class. How didn't I recognise him, I'm terrible with faces. But he got so handsome. I'm glad that he isn't mad at me for not visiting him. I walked into the class, many people were glaring at me. Expect for the boy in the last bench, he was busy in his phone. He is in blue, with curly brown hair. He too was so handsome.

I was peeking at the class carefully, for Arnie. " There he is " Avlin said................
