After half a decade

" Aww that's so cheesy " I said. " I know you like cheese " Avlin joked. " Why are you up so late " He asked me. " I don't know, just I was busy admiring the ocean from my balcony. So just thought so getting a closer look " I said. " Why are you up so late " I asked him back.

" I just couldn't sleep, excited because you are here " He said. I laughed, " You're sweet " I said Squeezing his cheek. " We have school tomorrow " Avlin said. " I know I asked sara and Charlotte, so convince mom for me to cancel summer school. I wonder how that goen " I said.

" Ohh mom and Charlotte can easily convince Evelyn " He said. I nodded, silence fell between us. He was staring into my eyes, I couldn't resist staring back. We were looking into each other's eyes, which felt like a long time. He slowly leaned in, I came back to my sense.

I quickly got up on my feet, Dusting the sand away. " I-I should probably get some sleep now, good night " I said . " Yeah me too " He got up. Both of us walked back to our rooms. Now I'm totally tired, I fell into sleep.

I heard a tud sound, from outside. I woke up with a shook, now my head started aching. Ahh, it's terrible. Who on earth made that thud sound. I got up, and settled my bed. I opened my door, it was the boys. They were catching some box, that fell down while taking downstairs.

" What is that " I ask them. " You'll see " Arnie said struggling to catch the box. They took it downstairs in front of the TV. I went to the kitchen, mom and sara were having coffee sitting on the kitchen table, watching the boys. Charlotte was making herself some coffee, I said good morning to all of them and went into the kitchen.

" Charlotte, can you make me some too, my head is blasting " I ask her. She took out another cup and poured some to me " Why is your head blasting " She asked. " It's just I woke up - didn't have enough sleep " I covered up. I didn't want her to know that I woke up because of the boys.

I joined the ladies on the kitchen table watching the boys. The boys were opening the box, with tape records. They played them on TV. It was us three singing, it was so sweet. But suddenly I kiss, the boys on the cheek while singing . Everyone were looking at me, it was awkward. I was drinking my coffee keeping my head down.

" It's okay dear, you were just a kid " Sara said. " Yeah, it's completely fine " Charlotte said patting my shoulder. " I know but it's bit awkward " I said ,Charlotte and sara laughed. My mom looked at me " It's fine, anyway it's one of them your gonna marry " She said. " Mom?? " I called out giving her a what-are-you-talking look. " Yeah that's the future " She said laughing. Sara and Charlotte were laughing too.

But Avlin and Arnie were staring at me..............
