After half a decade

I took a shower, got in my shorts and oversized sleeveless shirt. I went down stairs, avlin and Arnie were playing video games. While the ladies were preparing the dinner. I went and sat between avlin and Arnie, " I wanna hop in " I asked.

Avlin gave another controler to me. We were playing video games for a very long time. I didn't know how the time passed, " Kids the dinners ready " Sara called out. " Coming Sara " I said. Three of us got up and went to dining table.

We sat down, Sara was filling the glasses with champagne. I was shocked, Sara winked at me. Mom sat in the middle chair, she lifted up her champagne glass into the air. " To this summer " We all repeated after her. I tooka sip, I didn't like it. I mada a disgusted face, " I guess the Grammy's champagne was tastier " Arnie said.

" I'm under aged, they didn't give me any " I said. Then all of us ate our dinner, while talking a lot. Finally we were done with the dinner, I was taking my plate to the kitchen. " Lise, let it be. She will take care of it " Mom said pointing the maid. I forgot we had maids of the summer .

I sat back in my chair, " Movie night kids, you can use the theater upstairs. We'll use the tv downstairs " Charlotte said. " The first one who goes up, gets to select the movie " Arnie said, and started running upstairs. Avlin and me too started running. Mom, Sara and Charlotte were laughing, " Popcorn is on it's way " I heard Sara shouting.

I acted to fell down, cause I wasn't able catch the phase. Avlin and Arnie came back running towards me " Lise are you okay? " Avlin asked. " Anna are you fine " Arnie asked. I slightly pushed them and ran First to the theater. I took the remote, " That's cheating " Arnie said. " Nope that's Lise " Avline said gasping for air.

" Now I get to select the movie " I said. " Fine" Both of them whined. I decided to watch this movie called " The in between " They both agree. I was sitting in between of them with soft Blankets, plushies and dim lights. It was fun, but the boys started looking side or at the ceiling wherever the actors hook up. I didn't understand, why were they so embarrassed about it.

The movie was over, " Wanna watch another one " I asked. " We have school tomorrow " Arnie said. " Yeah, I'm tired too " Avlin said. We all said goodnight to each other, they went back to their rooms. I went down stairs, the ladies were watching movie. I went and lied between Charlotte and Sara, " What's up hon? " Sara asked me. " Can you guys please make mom , cancel my summer school " I whispered to them. They chuckled and nodded in agreement.

" Good night mom, good night Charlotte, good night Sara " I said getting up. " Good night hon " All three of them said back.

I went back upstairs, I got into the bed. I tried to sleep, but I wasn't able to..............
