It had been a week and a half since Alexa left and there has been no texts, calls, voicemails or anything like that. It's not like Sarah didn't call or text because she did, Alexa just never got back to her. At first she thought since Alexa just got back there, she needs to wind down and say hey to her friends but now it's been a week and Sarah feels some kind of way about it.
She refreshed her Instagram home page and when she did, Alexa's latest post came up. She thought how pretty and adorable everyone looked. She doubled tapped the picture and then exited out the app.
It was one of her many days off and she had nothing to do. She thought about going to a bookstore or maybe try and take up cooking because she always wanted to do that but she didn't have any motivation or strength to get up off the bed she'd been laying in for the past thirty minutes since she woke up. She deeply sighed and groaned, turning on her stomach and hiding under the covers.
While Sarah was having a midlife crisis, Alexa had just made it to the set of euphoria to began shooting season two.
She had just come from a long day yesterday of photo shoots, screen reading, and so on. As usual when she's on the set of euphoria, the first place she goes to is where the food is. She would get her usual blueberry muffin and apple before heading to Barbie's trailer where she would find Maude at sometimes.
"Hello?" Alexa opened the door and walked right in.
"Lex!" Barbie exclaimed, coming out of her closet. Apparently she was trying on some new heels she bought.
Alexa smiled, "Could I use your bathroom real quick?"
Barbie just nodded and headed to her small sofa, sitting down. Alexa was in the bathroom by then and as barabie was putting on the last pair of her new shoes, Alexa's phone came on — at least the screen did. Barbie wasn't the nosey type but she couldn't help it and as usual, it was another text from Sarah.
She quickly looked back at the bathroom and saw the door was still closed, so she turned back and quickly scrolled the notifications, she saw days of missed phone calls, voicemails, and text all from Sarah. It was clear that Alexa was now avoiding Sarah and Barbie wanted to know why.
Alexa had just walked out of the bathroom and when she did, her and Barbie weren't the only two in the trailer anymore.
"So you gonna tell us why you're avoiding Sarah?" Barbie ask and Zendaya crossed her arms.
"I'm not avoiding her. I've just been very busy and how would you know anything about that anyway?" Alexa defended herself.
"So you admit it!" Barbie exclaimed.
"I didn't say anything."
"Well technically you said how would you know anything about that anyway? Meaning that there is something you're not saying." Zendaya cleared it up for everyone.
Alexa sighed, "Why is Z here again?"
"Come on, Alexa. You can tell us anything." Barbie pleaded.
"There's nothing to tell. . . i promise."
They all just awkwardly looked at each other before Alexa went and grabbed her things off the sofa and exited barbie's trailer to go wherever she could eat in peace and dwell in her thoughts.
She had a reason of why she wasn't reaching out to Sarah. She just didn't know the actions that she's taking was lowkey hurting Sarah.
