Diana was in her room thinking about El, when she heard Dustin talking over the walkie-talkie
Di, do you copy? Di, do you copy?" He asked
"Yeah, I copy" She said
"Lucas and I have six bucks total, Mike doesn't know yet. What's your haul?"
"shit! I don't know yet either" She said. She totally forgot about the arcade
"What do you mean you don't know yet either? What were you two doing all this time?!" He asked raising his voice
"I just- I'll see you there, okay?" She asked, turning off the walkie talkie and sighing
"Shit" She said, and she runned to her brother room
"Steve!" She called him, running in his room
"What?" He asked
"I need some money" She said entering the room and searching around for some money
"Uh, no?" He said
"I'm not giving you money anymore"
"Please, I'll pay you back" She said
"Yeah, like the time i gave 10 bucks, and you said you would've pay me back? I'm still waiting for the money"
"That was for a good cause"
"And now? What's the good cause?" He asked
"I have to go to the arcade" She answered, throwing some things on the floor still searching for the money
"Well, I'm not giving you the money. You'll have to ask Mom and Dad"
"No, I can't. I've alresdy spent the money they gave me 2 days ago" She said
"Well, that's not my problem. I'm not giving you the money. And stop messing my room" He said
"It's already a mess. And you don't have to give me the money, I found them, don't worry" She said fake smiling at him and showing 10 bucks
"Diana! Give it back!" He yelled following her downstairs as she hopped on her bike
"I'll kill you" He said
"Thank you Steve, so sweet" She yelled back not looking at him and biking away
"Diana!" He yelled once again

"Oh, Jesus! I'm in unchartered territory here, guys" Dustin said while playing
"Down! Down! Down!" They yelled at him
"I'm going! I'm going! I'm going! I'm going! I'm going!" Dustin said, and they all started clamoring
"Okay. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up! No. No. No! No! No! No! I hate this overpriced bullshit! Son of a b¡tch! Piece of sh¡t!" Dustin yelled as he lost
"You're not nimble enough. But you'll get there one day" Lucas said sarcastically to Dustin
"But until then, Princess Daphne is still mine" Diana said, and Lucas laughed high fiving her
"Whatever. I'm still tops on Centipede and Dig Dug" Dustin said
"You sure about that?" Keith asked
"Sure about what? You're kidding me. No, no, no. Move! Move! No, no, no, no, no. Hey, no!No!No!" Dustin yelled as they runned to Dig Dug
"751,300 points!" Will said shocked
"That's impossible" Mike said
"Who is Mad Max?" Diana asked
"Better than you" Keith said
"Is it you?" Dustin asked
"You know I despise Dig Dug" Keith said
"Then who is it?" Diana asked
"Yeah, spill it, Keith" Dustin said
"You want information, then I need something in return" Keith said looking at Mike
"No, no, no. No way. You're not getting a date with her" Mike answered raising his voice
"Mike, come on. Just get him the date" Lucas said
"Lucas!" Diana said punching him on the arm
"But it's for a good cause" Lucas said and she rolled her eyes
"I'm not prostituting my sister!" Mike said
"No, don't get him the date. Know what? He's gonna spread his nasty-ass rash to your whole family" Dustin started talking looking at Keith
"Acne isn't a rash and it isn't contagious, you prepubescent wastoid" Keith snapped at Dustin
"Oh, I'm a wastoid? She wouldn't go on a date with you. You make, like, what? $2.50 an hour?" Dustin snapped back
"Nice perm" Keith continued
"Gonna make fun of my hair?" Dustin said
Diana called Mike touching his arm and she pointed at Will. They went outside the arcade, where Will was and Mike touched his shoulder
"Will! Are you okay?" Diana asked worried
"Yeah. I just... I needed some air" He answered
"Come on. You're up on Dig Dug. Let's take that top score back, huh?" Diana said as they entered the arcade

"Meet the human brain. I know. I know, it doesn't look like much. A little gross even, right?"
"But consider this. There are a hundred billion cells inside of this miracle of evolution. All working as one. No, no, I did not misspeak. I did not stutter. A hundred billion" Mr. Clarke was talking. But a few minutes later, the door opened reveling the principal with a redhead girl
Diana looked at her amazed. From a year now, Diana found out she was bisexual. The boys, they all knew and acepted that. But Diana still didn't feel right with that. Don't get her wrong, she knew she liked both boys and girls she was happy, but scared. I mean, they're in Hawkins in 1984, the bisexuals or gays or lesbians weren't good seen. The only ones to know that were the boys, and El, they explained to her what bisexual ment and she understood and was okay with that. But Diana's family didn't knew that, not even her brother. I mean they weren't the best of sibilings they rarely talked to eachothers if they don't want something or to insult eachothers.
"Ah, this must be our new student" Mr. Clarke said
"Indeed. All yours" The principal said
"All right. Hold up. You don't get away that easy. Come on up. Don't be shy. Dustin, drum roll" Mr. Clarke said stopping the girl that was going to take a seat
"Class, please welcome, all the way from sunny California, the latest passenger to join us on our curiosity voyage, Maxine" He said, as dustin made a drum rool
"It's Max" The girl spoke for the first time
"Sorry?" Mr. Clarke said
"Nobody calls me Maxine. It's Max" She said again
The party looked at eachothers and Diana wishpered "Mad Max"
"Well, all aboard, Max" Mr. Clarke said as she finally took a seat
Diana turned around looking at the girl that was already looking at her. The girl smiled at her, and Diana smiled back turning around again
"What was that?" Mike asked as he watched all the scene
"What was what?" She asked
"You know what" He said
"No, I don't know what you're talking about" She said hiding her smile and started listening what Mr. Clarke was saying again. Mike looked at her smiling sadly
Mike always had a crush on Diana, before Will vanished it was a big crush, then when El was there he thought more about El, and now that El wasn't there anymore the big crush started again. Diana had a thing for Mike but the year before, now she sees him as a friend
