A lone girl walked through a destroyed village, shuddering at the sight of the bodies spread across the floor everywhere. She pulled her hood tighter over her head. "And this is all my fault..."
She walked on, until she had left the village and was walking on an empty path that lead to a huge seemingly vacant and abandoned house. The girl walked to the house and stared up at it. "Why did I think I could control it? I can't! I'm the weakest person alive..." And she walked into the house, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Haruna was scared. What if it happened again? She didn't want to trouble Rina and cause her to face so much pain again. For some reason though, Rina was all joyful and happy, as if she was excited. Again. Haruna sighed. "Rina, this is not a walk in the park! This is serious!"
Rina slowed down. "I know, I know. But you walk so slow, and it gets kinda boring. At least talk to me then."
"I wanted to ask you something, Rina."
"Shoot."
"What would you do if... you know, that, happened again?"
Rina looked at her. "I would get out of the way, and try to calm you down from far away."
"Calm me down? What's that gonna do?"
"Remember that Shaman? I think her name was Hoshiyo Sasazaki or something, but anyways she told me that what happened was caused by anger. I just have to try not to make you angry, and you also have to try to control it if I or someone else makes you angry. She also said something like 'Control it and use it to your advantage.' Don't know how though."
"So there is a way to control it, but we just don't know what it is..." Haruna said as she thought hard. "Maybe there is some special sort of relic that will help me..."
"But where can we find that sort of information?" Rina wondered.
"Maybe we can find some sort of library in the next city. Let me check our map..." Haruna pulled out a map from her backpack, sat down on the side of the path, and started to study it. Rina sat down beside her."Find anything yet?" She asked.
"There seems to be a pretty big city near by. They probably have some sort of a library there. Come on, follow me." She jumped up, and started to head off in some direction, still looking at the map. Rina got up and started to follow her.
They walked on and on for hours, stopping only once to eat a little bit of stale bread and drink some water. Then they were on their feet again. Rina felt like her feet were going to explode, but Haruna persistently led her on.
The girls had still not reached the city by the time night fell. They decided to take camp, because it was pointless trying to get anywhere in the dark. Haruna lit a fire as Rina gathered all of their supplies.
"Come on Rina it's getting cold."
"I'm coming!" And she ran to the fire, deposited all of their supplies on the ground, and sat down beside Haruna, leaning a little bit on her shoulder. "So are we almost there? My feet are about to disintegrate."
Haruna laughed. "Don't worry, we should reach it tomorrow, sometime in the day. Provided we face no distractions on our way there..." Rina placed her head on Haruna's leg. "Lets hope not. I'm too tired to deal with anything." she said, her voice becoming quieter and quieter, until it turned into a quiet snore.
Haruna smiled down at her friend. She didn't want to move in fear of waking up Rina, so she stayed in that position, enjoying the warmth of the fire.
A faraway noise, like the thundering of hooves, startled Rina and she woke up. "What? What is that?" Haruna was already up, staring down the road, searching for anything. Suddenly her eyes grew big, and she jumped backwards, grabbed Rina, and dived into the bushes.
