Error, unfortunately, woke up. More unfortunately, he woke up somewhere unfamiliar. It wasn't like he liked being reset, anyway, but being reset and being moved while he was rebooting? That was worse.
A lot worse.
Depending on who had moved him, it would be a lot worse for a lot of people.
Error stood up, looking around. He was in some sort of living room with a table, some couches and beanbags, and a TV. Rather than some sort of normal house material, the walls were made of solid stone. Error ran a gentle hand over the wall, curious. He'd destroyed plenty of houses in his time- he knew exactly how much force would be needed to knock down pretty much any type of common wood (such as the type found in most Snowdins), and several less common types (A few AU's he'd visited had pure ebony as a building material. THAT, at least, had been interesting).
A solid stone wall, though, was a bit different than most things he'd encountered. Most of Asgore's castles were made of stone, of course, but that was more of a processed concrete type stone. This looked more like literal raw stone blocks stacked on top of each other. Error wondered if he could break through just by ramming into the wall, or if it would take more force than just one skeleton.
Probably the second option, he thought musingly. This looked like a proper fortress, able to withstand more than a simple hit.
Of course, he'd never met anything that could withstand him. Except Ink, who couldn't stand still long enough for him to kill him. Idiotic forgetful annoying squid.
Ugh. Error rubbed the bridge of his nose. Speaking of the art disaster. Hadn't he been fighting Ink just barely?
Yeah. He had. In Underswap. The squid had been overreacting because he'd killed like three people (honestly! The human could have RESET easily. Such a drama queen). He'd managed to get caught in one of Ink's paint-traps.
Then there had been some sort of octopus or something. A... weird Sans? Maybe a knife or two? Then the jarring feeling of someone crashing into him (he guessed Ink. GRRR).
Then nothing.
Ugh again.
Error glared at the living room that had almost looked interesting a moment ago. Now it just looked like some tempting kindling.
His frown only deepened as he noticed a Sans looking at him with a glare to match his own. The Sans had on a large, puffy jacket that was more fluff than actual jacket, crossed with X's, one red eye, and a scar underneath his right eye. And for some reason, he looked like he hated Error with a passion.
So WHAT? Error thought, annoyed. I am FULLY PREPARED to hate you too. You're not the only one who can be annoyed here, MISTER. Why even GO through all the trouble of bringing me to your HOUSE if you HATE me? IDIOT.
"Why am I here?" He snapped, making the Sans' glare break as he looked startled. "What the hell d0 y0u want with me?" He paused. Was this one of Ink's new friends? Some sort of convoluted kidnapping? It seemed a bit too in depth to be Ink's work, but maybe...
No. The sunny one didn't look like this one. Error was bad with faces, but even he could tell the difference between a colorful ditzy idiot and the skeleton in front of him.
Although...
Hadn't he seen someone who looked like Sunshine recently? He thought for a moment, but as always, trying to bring up faces in his mind just gave him a headache. All he could think was Hmm. I should get more chocolate soon.
So. Not really the most useful train of thought.
"How should I know?!" The Sans cried angrily, as irritated as Error. "I'm the- I'm the bodyguard, not the decision maker! If it were up to me I'd never see you again!"
