Little Beginnings

Solo -Demi Lovato

Demi POV 

   When I got home it was an hour till midnight. The house was quiet but I heard the TV on in the living room. I went to go see who was watching TV but I just found Nick asleep on the couch. I grabbed the tv remote from his hand and turned the TV off. 

"Hey I was watching that" Nick said sitting up as his eyes were adjusting to the light. 

"You were snoring" I said jokingly 

"Whatever I'm going to bed" Nick said walking out the room and towards the stairs. I followed behind him so I can go find Aiden. All I wanted to do was cuddle with him all night I was ready to just crawl into bed with him. I just had to find him first, something told me to check the third floor first so I did going towards Aiden room first and I was shocked when I finally looked into the room. Joe got rid of his crib and moved the furniture around to put a twin side bed with side railing in the room. Which him and Aiden were currently sleeping on. I was upset he didn't tell me about this. 

"Joseph" I said shaking him awake. 

"Your finally back" He said getting out of the bed carefully he didn't wake Aiden. 

"What the fuck Joe. Where is his crib" I said whispered yelled at him looking around the room 

"The crib he doesn't sleep in" Joe said as we walked out of Aiden room towards mine. Joe closed Aiden door behind him before he stepped into my room. 

"It's not about that. Why didn't you tell me you were gonna get Aiden a bigger bed" I said with my arms crossed 

"Why didn't you tell me you were gonna file for custody" Joe said shocking me. Then he went towards my bed and lifted the mattress where I had the folder for different family lawyers. Joe was upset he threw the folder on the floor and all the pages flew out of it. 

"Why are you going through my things" I yelled and Joe closed my bedroom door to. To mute our voices  so we didn't wake anyone up. 

"Aiden feel asleep on your bed while I was cleaning his room one day and he peed through his diaper so I had to change your sheets and clean your mattress when that folder fell out" He yelled 

"There just phone numbers Joe, I haven't called any" I yelled

"Bullshit. Where have you been the past 3 hours. Some business meeting" He yelled 

"I told you I had something to take care of. Where were you for 10 hours all day with my son" I yelled back 

"I was thanking care of something" He said making me more upset "Why did you leave Aiden with me. You wouldn't have done that if you were planning on fighting for him full time" 

"I swear I haven't called them, I just wanted phone numbers because you keep threatening me" I yelled

"You know I was gonna drop it since you let me have Aiden the past few months but now I don't think I can. Now that you and your boyfriend are back together" Joe said confusing me

"Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend" I said upset still standing there with my arms crossed 

"I saw the pictures of you and Wilmer in bed together there all over the internet. I'm  guessing that was your 3 hour business meeting" Joe said 

"Those pictures are old that's what I was taking care of trying to get them taken down" 

"So you did go see him" Joe said 

"Why are you doing this" I said to Joe I was tired I just wanted to sleep with Aiden 

"Because I don't want my son growing up with a stepdad" Joe said mad as ever And I rolled my eyes letting out a sign
