Chapter 15; 6000 Words

The past few months or so has been bliss. Waking up to Jongwoons soft snores, him whispering me to sleep at night, and spending our free time together has been perfect. Only after Rebekah told me last week what Eunhyuk had gotten her exactly did things start to change.

"He proposed!" I choked on my coffee, spitting it across the room.

"What?" I croaked.

"Well it wont be for awhile because I just turned 18 and he has his work, but were thinking about a year from now.."

"Rebekah, this is a bad idea." I said, "What if you guys arnt ment to be together?"

"Oh shut up, Caitlin. I know what Im doing." She said.

"Oookkkkaaayyyy...."

After Id gotten off the phone I told Jongwoon about it he seemed to agree with me, "That very stupid of both of them." But after that he got awkward around Eunhyuk and turned into super boyfriend 24/7. I hope he doesnt think I want him to commit...

Afew months later, after the engagement was out in the open Jongwoon started to act strange. He got jumpy around Rebekah and I, but especially Eunhyuk. It wasnt until Jongwoon and Rebekah had returned from picking up dinner one night did he finally seemed relieved.

A week later Rebekah and I were waiting for the boys to get out of pratice in the SM New York lobby. We were talking about school when we heard yelling from inside the pratice room. Our eyes drifted to the dorr whne Eunhyuk burst through the door with the rest of the band following.

He was filled with raged as he stalked over to us, "Is it true?" He asked Rebekah.

"Is what true?"

"Oh I think you know." He spat.

Her smile faded, "Know what?" She snapped.

"I found out you where cheating on me."

"What?" She looked appaled, "Id never-"

"You know, I didnt think you were the cheating type, let alone Jongwoons."

I thought I was going to throw up. The room was silent, I looked into the group of oyss and found Jongwoon standing inbetween Kangin and Donghae.  Rebekah was gaping like a fish out of water, "What? Where- where the hell did you get that?"

"Someone tweeted me pictures." Eunhyuk said with a hint of poision in his tone.

"May I see them?" He handed her his phone and she started scroll through 6 or 7 pictures, I looked at them over her shoulder. Half of them were Rebekah in Jongwoons arms, then the other half were them hand in hand.

"I can explain those." She said as calmly as she could.

"Okay," He said, crossing his arms. Rebekah barely got a word out before Eunhyuk cut her off, "Accually, I dont want to hear it. I cant believe I was so ready to throw my life away for you." He said, then stormed outside. A small cry escaped from the back of Rebekahs throat as she staggered into a run, going after himm.

The rest of them filed out quietly, but Jongwoon sat down across from me, "Its not what you think." He said cooly.

"What do I think?" I asked.

"That I cheat on you with Rebekah."

"I cant even begin to comp-" I started.

"She slip on ice when we went for food."

"What?" I looked at him.

"We walk down street and she slip and I catch her, then helped across rest of ice." He said, leaning back.

For some outrageuos reason I didnt believe him, "Those pictures look like theres more to it." I said as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"You dont believe me?" He asked, sounding wounded. 

I didnt answer.

"Caitlin I love you more than life itself, I would never, ever do that to you," I focused on the pattern of the lobbys carpet. He scoffed, "I dont know why you being like this, you acting just like-"

"Eun Mi?" I asked, feeling my eyes start to burn.

"Just like her," He said. Then he mustve seen my face because he tried to make it better, "C-"

"No," I wasnt about to let him compare me to the devils spawn. Wether he was lying or not, in thst instant I didnt care, "Go. I want you and your stuff gone before I get home tonight, you can leave your key on the dresser."

Jongwoon exhaled heavly, "Caitlin, pl-" I looked away and rested my head on my knee.

I waited until he was gone to cry, I was shaking so badly. I didnt go after him, after today he probably doesnt want anything do with me.
