You and Nancy study the 1920s for a while feeling all burnt out "Do you think we would ace this pop quiz?" you ask Nancy knowing she probably will shes smart and got every practice question right. You on the other hand missed a couple but thats okay you might still get an A or B thats good enough for you.
"I sure hope so I want to go to a good college and if i fail one test or pop quiz I can kiss that goodbye" Nancy replies. We still have two years left and Nancy is already thinking about college damn.
"Girls! Mike dinner!" You hear Mrs. Wheeler yell down the stairs. You and Nancy run out her room done studying for the night and go down the stairs for dinner. Mike was in the basement so he ran up the stairs to the kitchen.
You sit down at the table next to Nancy and Mike, Mrs. and Mr. Wheeler across from us. "This looks great Mrs. Wheeler" you say staring at the delicious looking pork chops, corn and mashed potatoes on the table. "Thank you" she replies with a smile on her face.
"How was studying girls?" Mr. Wheeler asks you and Nancy while grabbing a spoon of corn and puts it on his plate. "I think Nancy is gonna ace it and I'll probably get a B" you reply looking at him then Nancy. Your dad has always taught you to look at the person you are talking to if you don't its rude and he didn't raise you that way. Nancy laughs "I think Y/n is gonna ace it to! The 1920s was definitely a weird time period."
Nancy continues talking to her dad about the 1920s while you eat dinner wishing your dinners were like this with your parents it makes you sad thinking about it. You love family dinners i barely happened but when it did it was like the movies you've seen.
Lost in the thought you hear the door bell ring and see Mrs. Wheeler get up and excuse herself to answer. She opens the door and there is standing Billy Hargrove with the sexist smile on his face. "Sorry to interrupt what looks like dinner" he says "but i'm looking for my step sister Max have you seen her?" Mrs. Wheeler smiles "Mike? Didn't Max leave with Dustin, Lucas and Will before dinner?" looking at Mike waiting for his reply "Yes mom." Still smiling at Mrs. Wheeler Billy thanks her for her time and says "If you see her again please tell her it's time to come home." as he walks away Mrs. Wheeler fans herself thinking hes got a nice ass and wishes he was her age before shutting the door.
An hour has passed after dinner and you tell Nancy bye and thank you for dinner as you walk out the door and head for home.
