The Arcade

Still at the Arcade-8:30

At this point, I just sat outside and waited until my brother Jonathan picked me up from the arcade. I was sick and tired of this bullshit. I knew Mike was never gonna understand, because he cared too much about Jane. "Will, you out here?" I turned to look at who was behind me. "Hey, there you are" Mike said.

"Aren't you supposed to be with Jane" I said annoyed. "Mhm, yeah I am but I told her I needed to use the restroom." We sat there silently not really saying anything. "Do you know that Jane is lying to you, right?" "Wdym she's lying to me?" "Nevermind" I said. "It's that I hate it here tbh" "Wdym" Mike asked. "It's my birthday today and look what happened" Mike looked at me in shocked. "You forgot, didn't you?" I said looking at him sadly.

I knew that Mike's eyes were on me but I didn't really wanna look at him right now. I got up and went to the bathroom and left Mike there. "Hey Will, have you seen- " "No I haven't" I said. I ran to the bathroom as fast as I could and started crying. I felt so bad, I knew that I could never do such a thing to Jane.

I walked up to the front desk and asked if I could use there phone. "Sure, but make it quick" the front desk person said. "Hey, can you come pick me up" I said. "Yeah, what's wrong"

Waiting for Jonathan to show up

We all waited outside of the arcade, as soon as Jonathan showed up. "Hey, what happened" Jonathan said. Everyone was quiet and said nothing for the whole ride until we got home.

I immediately ran inside and ran into my room. I cried and cried and until I stopped. I heard someone knocking on my door, as it opened it was Mike. "Hey" Mike ran over. "Don't cry" he wiped the tears away from my face. "Stop Mike" I whined "Wdym stop" he said. "Stop pretending like you care about me" I screamed! Mike was in complete shock. "Im confused" he said. "Yeah so am I, but you're with Jane and I can't deal with someone who's just gonna play with my feelings" Well Jane gonna go to Max's house so it's just you and me.

I look at Mike into his eyes, not breaking eye contact. "Do you like me?" "Like at all Mike?" "I do, and that's why I wanna show you" He grabbed my face and kissed me gently. I started kissing him back, until Jonathan burst in. "Hey guys..." We both look at each other in shock.

"I'm just gonna go" he said like he saw nothing. I look at Mike and burst into laughter. Mike look terrified but looked like he was about to laugh too. "Hey also I wanted to ask you something" Mike said. "Hmm?" "What is it?" "What was that thing that you had in ur hand at the airport?"
