Mike and Dustin ran around the school all lunch and between classes looking for someone to fill in for Lucas
but everyone rejected them, called then nerds, freaks and the normal stuff people called them when they heard that they played d&d
before long school was over and mike was waiting out the front for Dustin to come from english
"Hey worm" mike said to Yn as she can over to him after school
"Hey worm shit" Yn replied messing Mike's hair up by shaking her hand through it
"Hey" Dustin said coming over and stood next to them
"Aren't you supposed to be going somewhere with Eddie?" Dustin asked looking at Yn
"Yeah but I forgot about my shift at work, so I'm waiting for Steve and robin if they hurry up" she replied looking up the road as Steve came and parked in the parking lot
"I gotta go, I'll see yous at Hellfire" Yn said as they both waved her off
"I couldn't find anyone, no one in highschool who likes to or wants to play d&d" mike said to Dustin who was looking up the road
"Maybe we don't need a high schooler to play" Dustin said looking up the road making mike confused
Dustin started running up the road as mike grabbed his bag and ran after him
Before long it was time for the championship game to start and everyone was standing outside the school in the dark waiting for them to open the gym to watch it
as they opened the door an everyone went straight in, hellfire was setting up to play d&d and to defeat Vecna
"I said find someone to play in highschool not some 4 year baby girl" Eddie said annoyed looking at the younger girl infront of him that Dustin and mike brought to fill in for Lucas
"Umm I'm eleven you long haired freak" the girl responded quickly putting her books and stuff on the table
"Well this ain't no babysitting club" Eddie said leaning forwards in his chair
"Really? cause I thought this was a club for grandpas" She sarcastically replied
"Ooi you little shit, I'm not a grandpa I'm not even a guy" Yn joined the conversation
Eddie stood up from his chair and stood infront of her, "what's your name?" he questioned folding his arms
"Erica Sinclair" she replied crossing her arms as well
"Ahh Sinclair's baby sister, he hasn't got as much attitude as you do" he sarcastically said laughing
"What's your name and occupation, level 1 dwarf" Yn said as everyone at the table stared laughing
"My name is Lady Applejack and I'ma level 14 no good half elf rogue and I will sneak up behind anything you throw infront of me and kill it with my poison ivy sword and watch as it dies a slow, painful death" she said turning and looking at Yn
Eddie stood their looking at Erica for a minute as she turned and looked at him
"Welcome to Hellfire" Eddie said putting his hand out and shaking her's with a smirk
Erica sat down in between Yn and Dustin, they all sat down and finished setting up and started playing
"All heal Vecna, all heal Vecna, all heal Vecna and as they turned around they removed their masks, faces melting" Eddie said leaning over his papers and books as everyone waited patiently
"But one face was not familiar, he not only had one arm but........ one eye!" He said putting one arm behind his back and covering his eye with the other hand
"Noooo" "But Vecna's dead" "We killed him!" everyone one yelled angrily
"As you thought" Eddie said smirking as he leant back in his chair
They played on trying to defeat Vecna, until Erica, Yn and Dustin were the only ones left alive
"Time out, time out" Yn said as they got up and huddled in a circle to decide what to do while Eddie squatted in his chair smirking waiting for them
They started talking back and forth on wether they were gonna retreat or fight till the death
"Well yous are on the battle field so what do yous wanna do?" Mike said looking at Erica, Dustin and Yn
"Erica, Yn?" Dustin asked looking at them
They both nodded to each other before Erica said "till the death"
"Well ladies I haven't got all night" Eddie said butting into their conversation waiting for them to answer
"Let's kill that asswhole" Yn said as they turned around an stood around the opposite end of the table from Eddie
All three of them took it in turns attacking him but Yn and Dustin were defeated so it was all up to Erica to defeat him, she rolled the dice and got a........ 20 that's means she defeated Vecna
Everyone started jumping around in excitement as Eddie leant forward and half bowed spreading his arms out across the table
They all packed up their stuff and walked out the door congratulating each other as everyone else came out of the gym cheering and congratulating the team on winning
Lucas stopped in the parking lot as he watched Erica come out with hellfire cheering, knowing that they skipped his game and didn't know that he was the one who one the game for his team
They split up and said goodbye, mike walked over to Nancy were she was talking to Fred and Yn said goodbye to Eddie and walked over with Mike
