Mal was drawing at a picnic table. Soon a boy came to the table, still standing. "Hey, your Mal? I'm Brendon, Chloe's brother." Brendon said. "Yeah, she told me about everything." Mal said. "Okay, I was wondering about something. Could I sit?" Brendon asked and Mal just rolled her eyes and said, "Whatever." "I am the royal advisor of Ben. I have to be up front at the coronation, but I don't have a girl to be up there with me. Mal, I was wondering if you would be that girl?" Brendon straight up asked.
Mal looked up. She knew that Chloe might not do it. Chloe was completely changing. "Sure, I'll do it." Mal said. "Cool, I was wondering if you also would like to go on a date? Before the coronation, maybe get to know eachother?" Brendon asked. Mal sighed a bit annoyed of this. "Sure... Why not." Brendon told her, "Okay, pick you up tomorrow after school?" Mal nodded. "See you tomorrow, Mal." Brendon told her and left. Mal did think Brendon was cute, but she had to get the wand...
Chloe was sitting walking down the hallway to go to locker. She then accidentally bumped into someone who was leaving a class room. It was Ben. "Hey Chloe. Brendon told me about that dinner with him and your mom. How'd it go?" Ben asked. "Really good. I learned everything about what happened when I was kidnapped. My mom wants to give me a new room at the castle." Chloe told him.
"Wow, it sounds like it was good!" Ben told her. "We are going to announce that I'm the lost daughter of The Blue Fairy on Family Day." Chloe said. "That's great!" Ben said to her. "Yeah, Auradon has changed me a lot." Chloe told Ben. "I'm glad. Hey come with me!" Ben told her pulling her to the library that was empty. "Why is it empty?" Chloe asked. "Everyone usually comes here at lunch or after school." Ben told her and she nodded.
Chloe and Ben began to walk to a book case. "The only book I read was my mom's spellbook and my dad's book to control the Chernabog powers. When I was young, I have always wanted to read a normal book." Chloe admitted to Ben. "Really?" Ben asked and Chloe nodded. "Well let me show you one of my favorite books." Ben said and found a rolling library ladder.
He found the book and climbed down. "Here" Chloe looked at the book and said, "The Beauty and the Beast?" "It's a really good book." Ben said joking. "It's about your parents." Chloe said laughing. "Hey, don't judge a book by its cover." Ben joked and Chloe shook her head saying, "Fine, I'll read it princey." Chloe said Ben grabbed it from her and opened it.
"Oh, La-la-la-la" Chloe began to sing, making Ben look at her.
"Oh, yeah." She continued to sing.
"I know it might be crazy, but did you hear the story?" Ben sang putting his arms around her, showing Chloe the book.
Chloe closed the book and sang, "I think I heard it vaguely"
"A fairy and a prince." Ben sang, causing Chloe to smile at Ben calling her a fairy.
"Oh, tell me more, boy, sounds like a fantasy" Chloe sang causing her and Ben to look at eachother in the eyes as they sang together.
