the two korean boys sighed, their chests heavily rising, only to sink again slowly a few seconds after, due to exhaustion.
"do you think renstudies will be online today?", jeno asked, while taking a big chunk out of his nearly empty waterbottle.
"i hope so. i still have to study for psychology."
the black-haired almost let out an exasperated gasp, "you really watch his streams when you're studying and not just to admire his pretty voice? oh wow. but you're a psychology student, so of course you'd be like this", he smirked widely.
"yeah, that's what his streams are literally for. why do you think it's called a study stream? besides, im pretty much normal. unlike you."
they both knew that was a lie. a lie so bad, it was barely believable. even though he wanted to appear much smarter than he actually was (not to say he is stupid, but actually.. yeah, he was), jaemin had just as many braincells as jeno.
which meant he had a few to absolutely none.at least that applied to some situations and moments.
or most, even.
------------------------------------
"why the hell did this dude change his password again-", jaemin breathed out slightly annoyed, after he had tried to log into jeno's twirle account with another word combination that could've been the password.
after a few more tries, it finally worked.
"mentallyillboyboss"
yeah. that seemed about a correct description for jeno himself.
that's definitely a password he'd use on an account named picklelover69.
things couldn't get any more jeno-y from now on, he was very sure about it.
and damn, boom, look at that. he successfully managed to log into the account.
he was an absolute master at this, you might even consider him a professional hacker at this po-
okay, no. actually the password was written on a small paper that was full with doodles, right under jeno's laptop case.
the password was so stupid, that he genuinely would've been suprised if he would've ever randomly guessed that. as much as he knew the cursed corners of jeno's mind, he would've never thought of this combination of words.
jeno is a mentally ill boyboss, though. he isn't wrong, the younger one thought to himself.
just as he logged in, he rushed to renstudies profile..
to be met with complete disappointment.
jaemin and jeno have been following his streams for quite a while now and usually the streamer started his streams at around 6pm.
well, that didn't seem to be the case today. to be honest, jaemin didn't want to come off like a cringy fan, who had some weirdass parasocial relationship to a streamer he didn't even talk to personally, but-
but-
he had promised himself, to not get too attached to renjun's streams or rather, to the streamer himself. BUT, he can now cross that out of his list, because it was already too late when he first watched one with jeno. instead, he sighed loudly with all the disappointment he had in his entire body and let himself sink down on his bed.
the stream was one of the things he was really looking forward to. what he didn't know, was that jeno was the exact same. the only problem for was him, though, that his other best friend was currently using his account. he had no premium subscription, since he was broke, because he was a mentally ill boyboss and mentally ill boybosses like him did not have any money for a premium description on twirle.
and so, he couldn't log in from his own phone, visibly frustrated and already pushing the fault onto jaemin. luckily though, renjun had linked his own twitts account, where he also announced things, in case a stream was delayed or started way later than originally expected. jaemin was right, by the way, renjun did really post an accouncement, regarding the stream. the basketball player curiously scrolled through the account with the moomin profile picture.
"hey guys! unfortunately due to some issues at the moment with art class, i won't be able to stream today. i hope you're not too dissapointed over this. see you in the next stream then!"
"unfortunately due to some problems with art class"
no, this was weird. hella weird.
just in yesterday's stream, he announced his art exams had just finished a few days ago and how he was so excited to finally have some more free time to stream more freely. on top of that, his teacher in the art club was kind, perhaps a little too kind, so she told her students to rest for the rest of the time they still had until the summer holidays started, so that they would be able start the next art project after the holidays with fresh new ideas and clear thoughts.
how jaemin knows about this, despite not being in the art club, you ask?
one of renjun's friends is in the club as well, he's his best friend. lee donghyuck was his name. jaemin would be lying if he said that he didnt try to get more information about renjun through donghyuck. to be honest, it was more of a give-and-take sort of relationship. everytime jaemin wanted a piece of information, the other one demanded something from him. although donghyuck never demanded anything dramatic, the other was still a little pissed off, but if he wanted more information, that was simply what he had to
however, his mind was still hanging to the thoughts of renjun and his art class. he barely knew them, never talked to them personally. it really shouldn't make him so curious and he knew that, but- argh. he cared way too much about people he wasn't even close to.
nevertheless, his psychology work didn't care about the fact that renjun wasn't streaming today. it wouldn't just finish magically, so eventually the korean ended up sitting down comfortably on the couch to work on it, leading to him forgetting about renjun and the excuse for not being able to stream for a while.
