Moving

I can't believe it, here i am packing my things into boxes and moving away from my home of 17 years.

I have never lived any place else than in California, and now i'm moving from a big city to a little small town called Mystic falls.

Sure i have been there like every summer since i was like 4 i love Caroline and aunt Liz but moving from California my home is hard.

I haven't seen Caroline in a while 2 or 3 years i don't remember, we usually go visiting every summer but since my dad got sick we never got the time.

Now i'm here packing my stuff alone without him, i can't believe he's gone. Sometimes i feel like he isn't, i feel his presence but i can't see him.

There isn't anyone i loved more than my dad, well it wasn't really a hard choice either i don't have a huge amount of friends, who an i kidding i don't have any. I had one friend but she moved away a year ago we haven't had contact since.

When my father died i knew i had to move to Liz and Caroline they're the only family i have left. I don't know anyone from my moms side, she died when i was 13.

Im excited to move to Mystic falls, but i wish it was on another occasion. Mystic falls is a pretty town its small and everyone basically knows everyone so its nice.

I don't know that many people there but i know Care, Elena, Bonnie, aunt Liz ofc, Jeremy Elena's little brother, Jenna Elena's aunt and Grams Bonnies grandma.

"Everything's in the moving car and we're ready to leave you coming?" i heard one of my dad's friends say. Her name is Claire she's nice and she's helping me move.

"Im ready" is the last thing i said before leaving my old house for good.

I was finally sat in my seat in the airplane and it was about to take of.

CARE: Hey, you on your way?
Me: Yup, in the plane now can't wait to see you👍
CARE: Im soooo excited 😆
Me: Same❤️

I put on my head phones and took on some music.

"Hey Cass" aunt liz told me and wrapped me up in a big hug.

"Hey auntie Liz, i've missed you so much!" i said with so much excitement "do i smell what i think i smell" i said with a huge smile, aunt Liz nodded her head "PANCAKES!" i yelled happy and ran to the kitchen.

I saw two high stacks of pancaked. When i visited here we always ate pancakes!

"Om! Omg! Omg! Omg!" i hear someone yell from behind me. I turned around and saw my favorite blondie standing behind me.

"CARE!" i yelled "CASS" she yelled and we ran to each other and hugged as tight as possible.

"Don't strangle each other to death, be care full" Aunt Liz said as she came in and took two pancakes in two plates.

We sat down and ate for a while.

I noticed a new ring on Caroline's finger which was strange i know Caroline hate rings she says it makes her fingers look fat and dry, i don't know why tho.

"New ring?" i asked her. She looked at me in a weird way, like i just told her mom, her biggest secret. She looked scared and like i knew something i shouldn't.

"Yeah, why?" she said in an really strange asking way.

I looked back at her face "no it's nothing special just i thought you said you hated rings" i questioned.
