Chapter 3

It's now been two days and a half and from what I can tell we were near are destination. "This base of yours what's it look like exactly?" Nile asked "It's a giant ship in a mountain." Iornhide explains. I smile slightly. Today was just one of those day's I felt like being left alone. After the phone call yesterday my anger has been loose. I think Iornhide can tell. "Why don't we all stop for a bit and get you all fed." Iornhide spoke throw the radio. I shrug and look outside. "Yes pweese I am starving!" Hope spoke as here eyes looked ready to fall out. "Wheeljack lets pull off to that gas station and let the kids eat. They haven't for a while." Iornhide spoke throw his communications device. "Loud and clear. Kia and Luke look ready to drop like flies." Wheeljack replied. As we pull off to the side I notice they had shower rooms. "Are we aloud to take showers to?" I asked. Iornhide's holoform activates. "I would see why not you earned it." He said as we all get out. I grab my bag and walk into the gas stations restaurant and we order are food and we took turns taking showers. It was about noon by the time we finished. I walk over to Iornhide as he was looking around. "You look like you had a good shower." He spoke noticing me. "I feel better. So how come your not with the others out by Wheeljack?" I asked.  "He seems to have them under control." He spoke. I nod and sit down at a bench. He sits next to me.  "How come your not by your siblings?" He asked.  "I am not really as social as they are. I have a tendency just to hide from people." I said looking at my hands. "I've always been like that as well for the longest time. I still have a little bit of a problem with it." He replies. "How do you cope?" I asked looking at him. "By pushing forwards. You don't let others affect you and you keep walking. If you need to kick there ass then do it and then keep walking." He answers lifting up my head. "Look you've been the most quite the whole trip. Your pushing others out when you should really be letting them in so they can help." He added. my eyes water and I jerk my head away. "I'm scared to." I shot out. I stand up and walk away and wipe my eyes. I walk to the front of the building and gasp. I hide again.  "Miss have you seen this symbol on any vehicles lately." A man asked the owner of the gas station. I look at the car and it had KSI written on the driver door. I rush back by Iornhide. "We need to go KSI is here." I said. Iornhide nods and looks at Wheeljack and gives him a nod. Kia, Luke and Drake get into Wheeljack and Nile and Hope. climbed into Iornhide's alt. I climb in his passenger seat and buckle up. Both There Holoform vanish and they step on the gas and we drive off again. "Do you think they spotted us?" Nile asked. "I don't know." Hide spoke. I feel my seatbelt tighten slightly as if it were giving me a hug. I look outside and see a few KSI cars following us. I unbuckled and climb into the driver seat and buckle back up. "You should tell Kia to get in Wheeljack's driver seat." I spoke. "Already did." He spoke. I grip my hand on the steering wheel and rub it with my thumb. There was lights that the KSI cars had trying to get us to pull over. "Let me drive." I begged. He sighs and lets me take control. I slam on the gas and jerk the wheel to the left into a corn field and past a small river. "What are you doing!" Wheeljack shouts following. "Playing hide and seek." I growl out. I have the truck drift and hide in a water fall cave and Wheeljack follows. "Turn off your engines." I order. They comply. We sat in silence. We hear all the. KSI cars drive past. "Good driving Rain." Iornhide spoke. I shrug "I use to street race." I said like it was no big deal. "It saved are afts that's for sure." Wheeljack spoke as we climbed out for them to transform. "We need to stay here tonight. With us so close to the base we don't want them to find it and ruin are plans." Iornhide said sitting down. I walk over to the back of the cave with my bag and plop down and lean against its walls. Iornhide shakes his head and sits next to me in his bot form. "You know you've got a lot of good ideas since we left. How about we work together. Me and you?" He asked. I smile and nod. "How come you didn't tell Wheeljack about my parents?" I asked. "I feel like it's something best kept secret they might not like the idea. I told your siblings this as well. He asked about the phone call I said it was Private information." He said watching Kia and Wheeljack talk like long lost pals. I look at Iornhide. "I'm sorry for running away back at the gas station. I should have held my emotions in check." I said going back to looking up. "Your just not ready to open up. I understand." He spoke rubbing my head with his finger. "So how do you think other bots will react seeing us? So far you were the hardest." I ask. "It depends all who we find some will be more as laid  back others will most likely try to squish you. I won't let them tho." Iornhide spoke up. We spoke for a little longer that night and I was starting to get warmed up to Iornhide. Me in him are not that much different. But like he said. everyone has a war story. It's about midnight now and I've been looking outside the water fall cave. Iornhide and the others went to sleep hours ago. "You should rest." Wheeljack spoke walking up. "I'm good. Besides someone needs to keep watch." I spoke glancing at him. Shakes his head. "I should thank you for saving Iornhide. Last I heard about him he was spouse to be offlined." He said sitting down. "It wasn't me. My brother Drake fixed him. I just gave him a makeover." I spoke looking away. "You judge yourself. Your probably have a reason to but you should know when your with us. You shouldn't." He said and walked off. I sigh and walk back into the cave and walk over to the waking up Iornhide. "Did you not recharge?" He asked seeing me. I shrug and walk past him. He stops me before I could. "Were leaving." He said transforming. His Holoform pulls me into the driver seat and disappears after putting my bag in his alt. The others slowly pile in and we were off on the road before we knew it. "Are base is only a hour away." Iornhide said to Drake, Nile and Hope who held a question in there eyes. "So what do we do when we exactly get there?" Drake asked. "I'll brake you off into jobs that way we can find the rest of the bots and fix them as they come. Like you and Luke are going to be are medics. Hope and Nile are going to be on the computers looking for Autobots and energon. Kia, Rain, Wheeljack and me are going to be rescue team. Hopefully we get to them in time before KSI gets them." Iornhide said going into leader mode. "I like the sound in that. Kia has wrecker quality. Rain has lots of warrior streaks in her." Wheeljack spoke up. I blush slightly. "I could never be a warrior when I don't even trust me." I grumbled under my breath. "You never know unless your willing to trust us to help." Iornhide spoke. The rest of the ride went by in silence.
