It's been five days now and the new bots have settled into our routine. Jazz is just as lively as Smokescreen except a little more mature. Arcee is the only female robot I met and let me tell you she's got an attitude problem. But after seeing how important we were to everyone she started to get use to the idea of humans living on base. But.. It's really starting to get cramped in this ship. Lets see... 12 bots saved so far. I think Optimus is starting to take notice. Only because us humans have to sleep on the human platform now. Let me tell you when my back hurts do to the cold hard floor. I just woke up but I feel my temper at its end. I sit on the end off the couch that was not taken by a sibling and log into the laptop. "Morning Rain." Iornhide spoke walking up. I glance at him and nod. He looks at me deeply. "That bad?" He asked. I sigh sleeply "You have no idea. My back hurts and I'm freezing again." I grumbled out. Optimus walks into the main room and glances my detection and walks off. I tilt my head. "Is he alright?" I question. Iornhide offers me his hand. "I'm not quite sure. He seems to be in deep thought." Hide replied setting me on his shoulder. I yawn only to get a glare from Ratchet. "Did you sleep at all?" He asked. I glare back. "I wish I could." I snap. He looks at me shocked. Optimus sends me a soothing feeling throw his parental bond. I smile a little his direction. "I believe it is time for are human friends to have guardians old friend." Optimus suggests. Ratchet nods "I agree these kids can have corders made in there guardians room." He instantly replies. "Well I call Rain. I also think Wheeljack will take Kia. But Hope, Neal, Drake and Zane will need one too." Iornhide adds into the conversation. "Well what about Bumblebee and smokescreen they share a corders and those to will definitely take care of Hope." Ratchet sugusted. Optimus nods. "Nile and the twins have been getting along they see Nile as there little brother." I pipe in. "That only leaves Drake and Zane." Optimus thought out loud. I rest my head back in deep thinking. "Well Zane can go with prowl or Jazz. He mostly resembles them. And drake could go with Arcee." I explain. "Sounds like a good idea. I will inform the others of are new arrangements. Ratchet I may need assistance." Optimus spoke as the couple walks off. That only left me and Iornhide with my other siblings who are sleeping. Lucky... "Well we best set up my corders for you." Hide said as he walks off with me on his hand. "Why did you choose me for your charge?" I question. He glances down at me. "Because I care about you. Also I like you the most out all the bots and humans in this base." He responded. I smile happily at him. I never seen my self with a friend like him. I am glad I met him. Had I not who knows we're we be. Now that I think of it this is the first time I have seen his room. As he opens his door I notice right away it was dark red and black walls his birth had a huge tarp I think. He has a desk a tv and a couch all in his size. No pictures tho. "Over there is a bathroom and a human sized room." He said pointing out. "When did you guys have these installed?" I asked. "Not long ago. Optimus had every room Have at least one human corders per bots room. He felt like it would be helpful when things got to out of hand." He responds I nod on response. Hide sets me down amd I walk up to the room and open the door to find a dresser and a big bed. "I can send Drake into town for bedding for you." Iornhide pipes in as he stand next to me in his Holoform. I lean against him. "I am just glad to see a bed again." I excitedly spoke ploping onto the bed. He chuckles and sits next to me. "I would have let you in here sooner but I needed the okay from Prime." He apologized. I glance at him and sit up. "No it's okay I understand." I said trying to cheer him up. He still looked sad so I rap my arms around him and hug him. He gets a little tensed but relaxes hugging me back. "I am glad to you chose me to be your charge." I spoke. "Please if anything were partners. I don't think you need my protection with how many times you saved me and the others from harm." He said seriously looking at me. I never knew that such little things in life would make me as happy as the things Ironhide say to me keep me going. Now that I think of it. "I wouldn't be who am today had I not met you Ironhide." I spoke honestly. He smiles at me. But not for long. Optimus had called a meeting. We all make it into the ship Deck. I sit next to Drake and Luke. The littles were by the twins, Bee, Jazz and Smokescreen. Optimus had a very serious look on his face. "I am glad of all the work we had done over the past five months and the members we saved from KSI hands. But I think it's time to think about recruiting new members." Optimus spoke. "Who?" Ratchet asked not happy at all. "Megatron." Was the only word he had to say before the whole room became loud and angry. I mean so loud that Hope and Nile are covering there ears. "Enough!" Optimus shouted. Ok now I know never make that man angry. Scared the daylights out of me, Kia, Hope and Nile. Ratchet gives me a apologize look. I smile and shrug it off. "Megatron is not a Desepticon any longer. He is the one who messaged me yesterday about joining and trying to end this war. Now you are all to treat him as an Autobot understand." Optimus explained and ordered. A bunch of yes sir and grumbling could be heard. An hour pass and the energon team was out with Kia and wheeljack as protection. Bumblebee, Arcee, The twins, Hope and Nile were on day patrol. Hide was working on his own with weapons. I was with Optimus and Ratchet in the main room looking at monitors. I slump in the desk chair with a groan. I hear footsteps and I glance up and see Optimus looking at me concerned. "Are you alright Rain?" He asked. "I'm fine just frustrated we aren't finding any bots out there." I emitted. He transformers and his haloform hips out and walks up the stairs and turns the chair so I was facing him. "What is really concerning you?" He asked. I look down sadly. "Well I am thinking about what happens when the war is over." I spoke truthfully. Ratchet glanced at me. Optimus lifted my head to look at him. "Why does it make you sad?" He spoke sternly. Anger flashes in my eyes but quickly vanished. "Nothing for you to worry about." I try to calmly speak. Ratchet was the one to become concerned. "Rain you know you can tell us what is bothering to you. It's not good to hold in your anger." Ratchet explained. I growl and stand up "I'm mad because when the war is over you'll just Leave us here with these stupid humans!!" I shout and run off into the halls and hide in the kitchen under the table like a little child would. "Ya know lill lady ya shouldn't be hiding under a table." It was no other than Jazz and Prowl in there haloforms. I wipe my eyes. "Sorry I just wanted to go somewhere to let my emotions out. I guess this is all I could come up with." I apologize. "Why don't you come out and help us. We wanted to make freshly baked chocolate cookies for you and your siblings." Prowl softly spoke offering me a hand. I take it and climbed out from under the table. Jazz hands me a hair tie and a apron. "We'll teach you a coping technique that will help your emotions heal." Prowl explained. A hour later we may have made one too many cookies. "Well how you feeling now girly." Jazz asked. "A lot better actually. Thanks for teaching me the technique. It really does help heal my heart." I calmly speak. They smile "Glad we could help you Rain. But me and Jazz have to go get ready for night patrol." He explained. "Do you have night patrol too?" Jazz asked. "Yes. Me and Ironhide do. I think Smokey and Bulkhead do to." I stated. They both nod and leave the kitchen. I hear footsteps and I look to see it was Optimus. "Dad I am sorry I got mad and yelled." I spoke first still keeping my distance. He walked up. "No it's my fault for not noticing why you were holding back that anger."
He apologizes. I look down at the counter sadly. "We're not going to leave you or your siblings behind Rain." Ratchet spoke up making me to look up seeing both him and Optimus were on the other side of the counter. I turn and slide onto the floor wrapping my arms around my legs. "You are going to have to. We don't belong with your people." I mumbled. Optimus sits next to me. "You are apart of my people my daughter." He softly spoke. I look at him "What makes you say that?" I asked. Ratchet gathers me into a hug. "Because blood does not make one a family. It's the love and care one another has that makes them a family." He answered. I smile "I am glad you are not going to leave us on this planet." I happily spoke hugging the both of them. Later that evening I was in Ironhide's alt in the passenger seat. "Your quiet this evening." Prowl spoke from the com link. I lean against the seat. "Just concentrating on the soundings." I answered. Ironhide's Haloform sat in the driver's seat. "You know I known you for five months now. Your never just quiet unless something is eating you." Ironhide stated. "Just worried about things. With the advancements that we are going to be doing in the war." I explained "What about it?" Jazz asked. "I mean what happens if we lose?" I asked. "I hardly doubt KSI and the Destroyers stand a chance with us now." Bulkhead piped in. "Even with this Megatron guy coming?" I asked. "Wait you do know that Megatron's Son is the leader of the destroyers right?" Iornhide asked. "That good for nothing bitch face is that guys son!" I growl out. "Woa. Didn't realize you had it out for his energon kid." Bulkhead said trying to calm me down. "Wait so then the story is true. Dose that Megatron is the evil war lord?" I question. "You know what. Lets cool are anger. I know a good place to do so." Iornhide suggested. I look at his Holo confused. "We going mud racing girly!" Jazz cheers. I smile and hop into Hides truck bed. "Let's go!" I chear as well. Iornhide and the other three Autobots speed up down a road caked with mud and dirt and they put the there speed to max as mu and dirt fly around them. "Wahoo!!!" I shout. "Bet ya can't beat me to the end of the track!" Jazz shout speeding off. "Not if I beat you!" Bulkhead piped in speeding past. "Come on Iornhide lest cream them!" I chear for him. He slams on the gas and speeds past the two caking them in mud. I laughed. Soon we were on the main road heading towards base as the sun begins to rise. I see a familiar ambulance. Hide and the others pull to the side of the road. Ratchet's Holo hops out and walks over. "You went mudding?" He asked Iornhide. "We did." He answered honestly. Ratchet looks at me with a stirn face. I back up nervous. "Come on Doc. The kid needed to let off steam an have fun." Jazz said defending me. "With all respect sir. She needed this." Prowl adds. I look at there holo's and smile at them. Ratchet sighs "Have fun explaining to Optimus why Rains sparkling bond made him think she was in danger." He grumbled walking off. I glance at Hide. "We're in trouble aren't we." I spoke up. Jazz nodded as did Bulkhead. "So what." Iornhide said lifting my head. "I would have done anything to see you smile again." He replied. The other three nodded there head. I tear up. "You guys are the best friends I could ever ask for." I hug the four of them. They hug back. I lift my head and see a red and blue semi driving tords us. It's breaks hissing as it stops and some comes from the smoke stacks. His Holo hops out and walks over. "What you five did was reckless what if someone had seen you?" Optimus spoke up with slight anger. I stiffen up but pushed it down. "It was my fault. Look you can hate me all you want but know that I didn't regret having fun." I spoke up standing in front of the four. "So if you must take your anger on mer and not them." I Glare at him. Optimus stood there shocked. As did Ratchet and the others four. "No sure it's not her fault. I took her out mudding. She had been so stressed out lately I wanted to do nothing more than to make her smile." Iornhide intervened. "I am willing to help my little sister smile if it means I get brig time for it." Jazz Said stepping in front of me along with Prowl "She saved my spark. That is the least I could do." He added. Optimus seems to look at me with no anger at all. That didn't stop my body from sending fear through the parental bond. Ratchet felt it and was by my side in the matter of seconds. "He's not mad at you Rain."He said hugging me. "Your not in trouble. In the future tho I would like a update when you go out on these trips." Optimus spoke. I nodded. "Why don't you ride with me so the others can go get cleaned up." Ratchet spoke leading me to his alt. I give a wave to Iornhide. "I'm going to get the seat dirty." I spoke considered. "I'll put a towel on the seat quick give me a minute." Optimus said walking off and grabbed a towel setting it on Ratchet's passenger seat. "Thanks." I sit down and buckled up. Both there Haloforms vanish as Ratchet followed Optimus to base. "You looked like you had fun." Optimus spoke through the radio. I smile. "Its the most fun I had in my life." I replied. I looked outside. "I had Arcee grab you some clean clothes and has the bath in your quarters ready for you." Ratchet explained. "Good who knows how long it will take to get this mud off. I didn't think that through." I add scratching my arm. "I need to give you a check up when you get done with your bath." Ratchet stated....Few horrible hours later and I finally got all the mud off. I get dressed and walk out of the bathroom and noticed Iornhide sleeping so I walk out of the room down the hall to medbay. I wave to the twins as they walk past with Nile on Sunstreaker's shoulder plates. I walk into medbay seeing Optimus and Ratchet. "I'm finished with finally getting the mud off." I spoke rubbing my eyes. Ratchet picked me up and cradles me like an infant. "You can get some rest after I finish." He spoke setting me on the birth. I yawn "Okay." Respond. He takes out his scanner and scanned me. "Your energon level's are low." He spoke. "Is that bad?" I asked. Optimus looked at him with the same expression as me. "Are you feeling well?" Ratchet asked feeling my forehead. "What is it Ratchet?" Optimus spoke becoming consered. "Your lack of sleep is what is draining the energon level's in your blood stream. When was the last time you had a proper recharge child?" Ratchet questioned. "Not since we brought Jazz and Arcee to base. The floor kept me awake." I replied. Optimus grabbed me. "Then you are to use our humans quarters and rest as much as you can." He ordered. "I'll figure out how to get energon into your system without it killing you in the meantime." Ratchet spoke. "Why can't I stay in my room?" I asked "I need to keep an Optic on you." Was all Ratchet had to say. Optimus brought me into his shared room with Ratchet and sets me in front of a human size door. "I'll be in to check on you in a few minutes I need to inform Iornhide." He explained and walks off. I walk into the door seeing a large fluffy bed with fluffy bedding. I take off my shoes and crawls under the blanket and sigh content. I finally get to sleep in a warm soft bed.
