The fox represents meet a common person, but with time this common person transforms in someone you love, example, for the Fox, The Little Prince was a commum human, have many humans in the country, but when The Little Prince captive the Fox, the Fox stay more anxious for see this boy again, he stay happy when stay with his friend and when it's coming time for see him again, but stay very sad when don't see his friend and he don't wanna stay with the Fox, you can read, when I write about a simple fox, the "f" is tiny, but when I write about The Foxy of The Little Prince, the "F" is majuscule (Idk if is correct sorry), because I'm talking about this special fox, and this represents in the story.
The Fox can represents a romantic way, because you need responsability for stay with this person, because need time and attention, and both need captive the other with time; Friendship, because for you this person is incredible for you, but for other persons is just like a other common person; And when you have a pet, of course, because they need your attention, not just because you adopte, but because now you need give love, food, and attention, for you, your pet is the only, but for other, have the same pet with the same breed (my dog Shih -Tzu is a example), and for him your are the world, have many humans, but just you care of him.
The Fox and The Little Prince can represents Exupéry and his wife relationship, because remember, he was a pilot and don't had very time with her, in the book the Fox stay very sad when The Little Prince need to go, and say it wanna cry, and The Little Prince say it's fox's fault, because he knew The Little Prince don't wanna stay very much time, it's just like the wife of Exupéry, she knew her husband need to go, because he was a pilot and need stay in the skys all time, principally because he needs to went for the war, and leaves his wife, of course she stay alone, just like the Fox in the book.
Other thing is for the Foxy The Little Prince is the only now, like the Consuelo (his wife) is for Exupéry, because besides betray her with other womans, he loves her, or at least, thought about her, is like the Fox, who see: Have many persons in the world, but for him, The Little Prince is Special, but besides loves the Fox, The Little Prince need to go, and can't take the Fox with him, just like the pilot with his wife.
