Lacey stepped out of her car as she turned it off. She closed the door and locked it as she walked into the small store. She was greeted by an employee behind the counter as she walked past them.

Lacey browsed around the store; walking through rows with items stacked on the shelves. None of them seemed appealing to her as she kept browsing. Lacey was about to give up her search as she neared the back of the shop.

Until one item in particular caught her eye-

A Beatiful glass mirror embedded with clear shiney gems on the edge. It was propped against the wall as it glimmered against the lights set in the ceiling. Lacey was breathless as she stared at her reflection in it. She took some steps towards it as it sat on the shelf.

Lacey placed a hand on the smooth, reflective surface of the object. It felt cold against her soft skin as she flinched from the feeling. It was cold when she walked in so maybe that was just the air.

Lacey carefully took the mirror off the wall and held onto it tightly. She walked to the front of the store where the cashier was waiting behind the counter. She placed it in front of them as they scanned it.

" That will be 60$. " The employee said.

Lacey sighed took her credit card out of her purse and scanned it. The request went through as she paid for it. The employee then put it in a bag and handed it to her.

Lacey walked out of the store and unlocked her car as she got in and drove home. When she arrived she walked inside and set the mirror down on a table. She then walked into her room when she then froze.

On the wall beside her bed was the mirror. But how did it get there?! Lacey growled as she took it off the wall. There was a dim outline of something on it the more she stared into it. Lacey rubbed her eyes and carried it out of her room and set it down.

She then walked into the kitchen to make herself some coffee. Lacey tapped her finger nails on the counter impatiently as the coffee machine did its work. There was a beep and Lacey poured the hot liquid into a mug.

Lacey took a few sips before the mug was soon empty. Lacey went to put it in the sink before turning around.

She froze again in shock as she saw the mirror hanging on the wall in the dim shadows of the room. The outline on the mirror was a bit thicker as she stared at it.

Lacey frowned as it glimmered in the dim shadows. She felt as if it was haunting her. She went to take it off of the wall and set it on the ground.

" I hope my mind is playing tricks on me, or I am just insane " Lacey mumbled.

Outside the sun started to set behind the trees. The sky grew orange with pink clouds as the sun slowly lowered out of the sky.

Lacey yawned as she went into her room and was swept by drowsiness as she closed the door behind her and shut the curtains.
