Unfortunate Death

Lacey looked around to see her car parked on her left of the parking lot. Lacey ran to it and fumbled to unlock it. When she did she got inside and started to pull out of the parking lot. The sun dipped down the horizon as Lacey drove silently down the road.

Lacey tapped on the steering wheel sadly as she kept driving down the silent road. Lacey saw her house nearing as she pulled into the driveway.

Lacey walked into her home and saw the mirror hanging on the wall. The cracks were growing bigger as pieces of glass started falling off of it. Yet it still glimmered as the moonlight hit it through the window. Lacey walked past it as it followed her through the house. As she went into the kitchen it appeared on the wall. Glass fell out of its frame and onto the floor as it shattered with impact.

Lacey walked out of the kitchen and to her bedroom. The mirror appeared again as most of the glass fell out of its frame. A black liquid was oozing out of the cracks as Lacey went into her room and changed into some night clothes. Lacey jumped into bed and settled herself to sleep as she started dreaming.

Or so she thought-

She reawoke in her room. As she saw herself sleeping in her own bed. She looked down to view her sleeping calmly in her bed. The window was open as the wind blew inside. Lacey saw as the wall started breaking apart as pieces fell off.

The mirror shown again but this time there was a gaping hole as black ooze dripped out of the cracks and down the walls.

Then suddenly two white hands gripped the window frame. A unnaturally tall figure crept through the window frame. They took a glance at Lacey's body as they stood over her.

Lacey noticed their eyes were also cracking and bleeding a black liquid.

Lacey turned towards the mirror as more of the black liquid poured out of it. She turned back to the creature as the same liquid as coming out of its eyes.

Then it clicked into place.

Was the mirror connected to the creature?

Lacey walked towards the mirror as the creature loomed over her body. Pieces of glass kept falling onto the floor until Lacey started punching the mirror. Even more glass littered the floor as Lacey kept punching the mirror. Lacey kept punching it until most of the glass fell out of the frame.

Until suddenly her vision became blurry as she stumbled to one side until she fell on the floor and blacked out.

When she reawoke she was on the floor and her hands were bleeding badly. She looked up to see that same creature but it looked angrier this time as it's eyes were chipped and cracked open.

" Wԋαƚ ԋαʋҽ ყσυ ԃσɳҽ?! " The entity screeched in an angry tone as it snatched Lacey off the ground.

" G-go to h-hell a-asshole. " Lacey spat.

The entity's anger faded as a sadistic smile replaced it.

" Gσ ƚσ ԋҽʅʅ? Oԋ ɳσ Lαƈҽყ, I ƚԋιɳƙ ყσυ- ɱιʂυɳԃҽɾʂƚσσԃ."
The creature said with a snicker.

" W-what do you mean-? " Lacey asked, confused.

" I'ɱ ɳσƚ ɠσιɳɠ ƚσ ԋҽʅʅ Lαƈҽყ... Yσυ αɾҽ. "
The entity said as the grin grew wider.

He then gripped Lacey's wrist tighter as he turned towards the mirror. Horror crept onto Lacey's face as sandy black tendrils came out of the mirror. Lacey screamed as they wrapped around her limbs. Lacey tried to grip onto the entity's hand but it slipped out of her reach. The creature's smile bled as he clenched his teeth together so tightly while he watched Lacey struggle.

She screamed and howled as the sandy black tendrils pulled her into the mirror. The entity watched as the girl was pulled inside, as her screams were drowned out as she disappeared inside.

He smiled as he hopped into the mirror after the girl. The glass soon floated up and fixed itself into the mirror. As the cracks disappeared the black liquid stopped pouring out as the wall started to reform itself as the mirror disappeared.

The only thing left behind was the black sand that littered the ground along with bloody Morse code on the wall.
