September 2000 (A/N: Fast forward muna tayo)
Today is September the 24th. irene is
now nine months pregnant. and imee is now eight months pregnant.
Nakaka ramdam na sya ng pain. but she didnt tell to anyone because she knows na magpapanic silang lahat.
Right now, irene monitor the contraction that she feels. She called her doctor to tell that she's in pain.
On Call
"Doc, i feel some contractions. i think im on labor."
:Are you sure? baka false alarm ulit
"I monitored it. The contractions comes every two minutes."
:okay. i-monitor mo lang yung pain na nararamdaman mo. then tell to your husband na you need to go here.
Doctor said then end the call. Irene called greggy to tell that she needs to go to hospital.
I-R-E-N-E P-O-V
I called greggy because the pain getting more worse.
"Hun! come here!"
"Why? do you need anything?"
"Hun, my water broke. and im in labor. prepair my bag and my hospital bags." i said agad naman syang sumunod.
Nilagay nya na yung mga bag namin sa car. nakita ko naman na nagpapa- nick na silang lahat. kaya bahagya akong natawa.
"Hoy! para kayong baliw. call ate and the rest of family. tell them manganganak na ako." i said calmly
Baba na sana ako ng buhatin ako ni greggy. he ran papunta sa van.
"Hun, kalma. labor pa lang naman eh.
Parang di ka pa nasanay. pangatlo na eh."
"Hun, kahit ilan pa yan alam mo naman eh." he said tska pinaandar yung car.

i was busy preparing my hospital bag. when greggy called me.
on call
:Manang come to saint luke's hospital. manganganak na si irene.
"Ok. bibilisan na. pa antay mo ako kay irene." i said then end the call
"love!"
"why?!"
"Aalis tayo. manganganak na si irene." i said kaya nag madali yung asawa ko.
Agad kaming umalis. tinawagan ko si greggy para itanong kung nasaan si irene. He said na nasa private room daw kaya agad kaming nagtungo doon.
pag pasok namin sa room ay nakita namin na nakaupo si irene sa bouncing ball.
"Hi lil sis. how are you?" masigla kong bati
"Fine! ouch. hun, its hurts" she said. greggy just hold her hand.
Habang nag uusap kami ay pumasok yung doctor ni irene.
"Iche-check ko lang kung ilang dilated na si irene" doctor said. tumango na lang kami as an answer.
"Irene, you are already 3 meters dilated. baka mamaya ka pa manganak nyan." doctor said
"okay, thank doc" irene said habang namimilipit sa sakit.
"Irene, you can do it!" i said
"thanks ate" she said. greggy and my husband buy some food dahil hindi pa kami kumakain ng lunch.
Hindi nagtagal ay dumating na sila. they just buy KFC. kasi sarado daw yung italian restaurant.
Kumain na kami. irene sit beside me at hinawakan yung kamay ko.
"Irene, it hurts." i said
"S-sorry a-ate" she said pero mas lalong dumiin yung kapit nya sa kamay ko. Tiniisko na lang yung sakit. dahil alam ko na mas masakit yung nararamdaman nya.
Sinusubuan na lang sya ni greggy. dahil nahihirapan sya because of pain.
Naka-tapos na kami kumain. irene sit again to the bouncing ball. maya maya ay naglakad lakad muna sya.
I sleep muna dito sa extrang bed kung saan matutulog si greggy.
Nagising ako because of my husbands tap. I look at the walk clock. its already 7:30 pm. napahaba din pala yung tulog ko.
"love, gising. irene is now 6 meters dilated. we just need to wait ng konti. lalabas na si baby" he said. i just smiled. tumingin ako kay irene. i see pain in her face. kaya lumapit ako sa kanya then pinag dikit namin yung tyan namin. natawa naman sya ng bahagya.
"Konting tiis pa ading ko. lalabas na sya." i said tapos niyakap sya.
Kumain muna kami ng dinner. irene eats a lot. para daw may energy sya.
An hour later. bumalik ulit yung doctor para i check ulit si irene.
"Irene, you need to go na sa delivery room. you are 8 meters dilated." doctor said tapos tinawag yung mga nurse na magdadala kay irene sa delivery room.
Irene requested na isama si greggy sa loob. her doctor allow her. we wait for them. we pray din for her.
After 30 mins. lumabas na yung doctor sa delivery room kung saan pumasok si irene.
"Doc, how's my sister?" i said worriedly
"Congrats. Mam imee. your sister gave birth to a healthy baby girl" doctor said then she excuse her self.
"Thank god!" i said tapos niyakap yung asawa ko. lumabas na din si greggy sa delivery room.
"Greg! congrats. how's irene?"
"thanks manang! irene is now asleep. theycan transfer irene daw after 20 mins." he said
"how about your baby?"
"Right now. she's on the nursery. dadalhin din nila si baby mamaya." he said with full excitement.
We are now here at irene's room. nilipat na din si irene but she is sleeping pa din. we are just waiting for the baby.
Maya maya pa ay nagising na si irene.
"hi! how's your feeling?"
"im good. where's my baby?" she ask. sakto namang dating nung nurse habang buhat si baby.
"mam, here's your baby." nurse said sabay bigay kay irene. irene becomes emotional after seeing her first daugther.
"mam what your baby's name po?"
"its Maria Celestina Josea Victory Marcos Araneta" irene said agad namang sinulat ng nurse.
"excuse me. what time lumabas si baby?" i ask
"Its 10:30 pm mam. excuse po" she said paglabas naman ng nurse ay tumabi ako kay irene.
"Welcome to the world baby!" i said.
"Why so haba naman ng name nya?" my husband ask.
"Ganun talaga. like ate. her name was so long" irene said
"Plss explaine her name nga" greggy said
"Maria is from me and ate. Celestina is from me. Josea is from ate. and the rest is from you and me" irene said to greggy.
Kinuha muna namin si Josea para makapag pahinga si irene.
Me and my husband sleep na dahil mayado ng malalim ang gabi.
