Before I start the chapter I just want to be extremely clear Midoryia is Bruce Wayne's Reincarnation okay because in the Canon story Midoryia wasn't rich so I had to improvise and plus we dont see Hisashi in Midoryias life so no I will not go with the classic Batman story but anyway enjoy the chapter?

???: BRUCE!!!!!!

Said a man in a black in blue suit as he held me in his arms as tears started to form on his face as I looked below me I was in a pool of my own blood as a large hole was in my stomach but for some reason I was still conscious as I didn't die immediately

I remembered what happen as I tracked down Enigmas hideout and was about stop his plan I was impaled with a large spear of some kind as I allowed myself to have my guard down at the last moment

Bruce didn't know if it was a person or a machine that caught him slipping but he decided to ignore it as he slowly started to faint in out of consciousness as he felt the cold release of death

Bruce: N....Nigh...Nightwing please sto....p Riddler please save gotham.

Nightwing: No Bruce don't speak... it's fin...fine i..I'll save you!

Bruce gripped Nightwings collar tightly as he pulled him closer as to get the message in his students skull

Batman: Dick GRAYSON I did not teach you to worry about me in times like this your job is to save and protect those who have a chance at life. I obviously don't have much time here but I would be DAMNED to find out in death that you didn't focus on your priority stop rid......blarrrgggggggh.

Bruce didn't finish as blood gushed from his mouth as he almost fainted as he gripped his chest in agonizing pain.

Nightwing desperately tried to pick Bruce up but he refused as with the remaining strength Bruce had left he punched Nightwing square in the jaw as the punch sent him flying into a wall as his body made a large crunch upon contact as Nightwing shakily got up from the wall.

Nightwing: DAMMMMN IT BRUCE PLEASE LET ME SAVE YOU

Bruce laid on the floor as he started to speak

Bruce: Nightwing enough I'm going to die just go!

Nightwing started sobbing as he watched his father figure in this state as he didn't know what to do As he held his head down low Bruce sighed at this as he spoke once more

Bruce: Dick remember the time we've spent together over the years remember the day we first met?

Nightwing slowly tilted his head up as he agreed in silence

Bruce: Even all these years when we worked together I treated you more like a co worker in my plan to save gotham as I didn't treat you like how I was supposed to. I taught you how to become a crime fighter but the thing I should have done these past 18 years was treat you like proper father would.

Nightwing started slowly tilting his head up more as Bruce spoke

Bruce: I should've done better Dick I still wish could've saved Jason back when the Joker captured him. I should've known about Damian sooner and I should have saved Barbara but I didn't Dick I was to late because I didn't finish what I started. I allowed the Joker to always escape Arkham asylum instead of personally killing him myself I was the one who let Jason go through that hell of a resurrection as the Joker killed him. I allowed Barbara the person who idolized my work the person who joined the family to be stuck on a wheel chair for as long as she lives.
