At the age of 15 (age of ultron time), Melissa and her older siblings (Wanda and Pietro are 18 that time) lost their parent and got kidnapped by hydra

Melissa got separated from her older siblings due to the avengers who raided their base
While Wanda and Pietro got rescued after Ultron, Melissa got stuck with hydra and was forced to kill people
The Hydra brainwashed her soon after the avengers attempted to get her and turned her into one of their weapons like the winter soldier
The Hydra trained her brutally and made her master all the types of Martial Arts and had given her another serum that enhanced her abilities
Soon after, she gained the title of Hydra's best agent and “Shadow Empress” as everyone in the hydra referred her to
The chasing between hydra and Avengers went for five years as Melissa were forced to hide
But, their little game of hide and seek came into an abrupt when the titan came to Earth
When Thanos snapped his fingers half of earth's population were wiped out, Including Melissa's older siblings that she didn't know that she have
Soon after, Melissa had to hide again to another hydra base to improve her Abilities for five years again in order to kill all the Avengers
Ten years later, Melissa is now twenty five years old, and was sent to kill all the Avengers including Nick Fury and the one who retired, Clint and Scott
