Raph, Twilight and Spike began to walk through the forest. Soon they came to a part where everything looked like it was made of silver and it glistened in the light of the full moon.

"Wow." Raph gasped.

"This part of the forest is...beautiful." Spike added.

"I never knew the forest could be so beautiful until I saw this." Twilight put in.

Raph touched a branch with shimmering sparkles. "This place sparkles just like the buildings in New York."

Spike was curious. "What's an New York?"

"It's where I'm from." Raph replied.

"It's in the world below." Added Twilight.

"Okay...tell me about this Nightmare Moon." The dragon wagged his tail.

"She's my teacher's sister. Her real name is Princess Luna and she is the Princess of the Night." Twilight said.

"She was jealous of her sister being the favourite of the both of them. So she turned into that creature, Nightmare Moon." Raph added.

Spike cupped his claws to his cheeks. "Wow...I'm so sorry about that. It must've been horrible."

Raph nodded.

Just then Twilight called out. "Boys...come here."

The turtle and the dragon went over.

"What is it?" Raph asked.

"What's wrong?" Spike wondered.

"There's a sign, telling the way to the Monster Isle." She pointed to a sign.

Raph gave it a read. "Monster Isle, three day walk. Beware the-" He raised a brow. "Jabberwocky? What's that?"

Twilight was just as confused as Raph was. "A Jabberwocky? I've never heard of that before."

"Oh yeah the Jabberwocky lives in the Monster Isle." Spike remembered. "I've read a poem about the monster once."

"A poem?" Asked Raph.

"Can you tell us it, please?" Added Twilight.

Spike chuckled. "Sure I'll tell ya."

Raph and Twilight listened in wonder as Spike began.

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Dis gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the jub jub bird, and shun the frumious bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought-
So rested he by the tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with his head
He went galumphing back.

"And has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Calloh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrape.

Raph and Twilight gasped in all struck wonder. "Whoa..."

"That was beautiful." Said Raph.

Twilight nodded. "Yeah...but..." She turned to Spike. "Why did you want to tell us this, Spike?"

"Because the wand is guarded by the Jabberwocky." The little dragon replied. "It's very protective of its territory and no one crosses its path. Those who do are eaten up."

Twilight gasped. But Raph wasn't afraid. "I could stab it with my sais. I AM a ninja after all."

Spike shook his head. "NO weapon can kill the Jabberwocky...except for the vorpal sword."

"The vorpal sword?" Twilight asked.

Spike nodded. "No other sword can kill the Jabberwocky. If it ain't vorpal, it ain't dead."

Raph put on his brave face. "I think I could do."

Twilight whipped her head in his direction. "Raphael, are you crazy? That beast will eat you alive!"

Raph just kept being his stubborn self. "I AM crazy. But I HAVE to do this. If Princess Luna's ever to be freed from that darkness and I'm ever to see my home and my family again."

"You're pretty stubborn aren't you, Raph." Spike sighed.

The turtle just continued to smirk. "I CAN be stubborn at times, but I want my brothers to see I'm more than that."

Twilight sighed. "Very well, Raph...we'll do it."

"Whatever you say, Raph." Spike added.

Raph smiled. "Shall we get moving?"

"We shall." The other two agreed.
