The mountain was almost silent, nothing but a few winds and hilichurls attempting to stay warm. Aether walked up the mountain to a familiar cave once used by a friend. A friend that has been forgotten...
"I'm still here." Albedo said, working on stuff and contradicting my last sentence.
"Making sure you haven't lost your mind yet." Aether replied. Albedo looked liked he had scales growing on the side of his face. Durin, his brother, was a dragon that had perished on this mountain. Albedo was now beginning to show similarities to this dragon. However...
"I feel a ok!" Albedo said, making the ok symbol with his hand.
"That's reassuring." Aether replied. Albedo hadn't predicted the outcome to be like this. He actually had a lot more control than he though and didn't feel bad or anything. He felt like Albedo.
"Trust me. If I didn't feel like myself, I'd have tried to stab myself already." He replied. The two sat in silence. Paimon wasn't with him. She was down in Mondstadt with others.
"When you gonna tell people? I feel like you should soon." Aether asked.
"I'll do it when I finally finish my transformation." Albedo replied.
"You seem very at ease with this." Aether replied.
"Well, I don't feel any different. It's not like I'm gonna to destroy all of Mondstadt and the only person I trust to finish me is you..." Albedo said. Aether looked him dead in the eyes.
"I said that didn't I?" Albedo asked.
"Yep." He replied.
"Welp, it's fine now. I'm just here doing alchemy... looking different." Albedo said.
"Klee would probably find you cool." Aether explained.
"Sucrose would want to do experiments on me." Albedo replied.
"You are half dragon. I don't blame her." Aether said. The two sat in silence some more. Nothing much was happening. Albedo did say he trusted Aether to kill him if needed. As much as neither of them wanted it, Aether was there as a precaution. The second Albedo found out about his transformation, he wanted to make sure Aether knew. Albedo reached for some herbs before he knocked them over. They fell to the ground.
"Well. I'm gonna need more herbs." Albedo said.
"I can go." Aether replied, getting up.
"I'll go." Albedo said in return.
"You're contradicting yourself." Aether said.
"I know, but it's better than a monster sitting in a cave on a mountain, right? Besides, you said it yourself. I should probably tell people..." Albedo replied. Aether sighed.
"You're not a monster." He said. Albedo grabbed a jacket.
"I'm a soon to be one." He said, walking off. Might as well get it out of the way...
Albedo made it to Mondstadt, where people barely bat an eye at his scaly surface.
"I need a few things, Sucrose." Albedo said, walking into their workshop. Sucrose, focusing on an experiment, nodded.
"Go ahead Albedo! There are a few in the cabinet in the corner." She said. Albedo went and grabbed the ones he needed. A sweet flower, a couple of lampgrass, and dandelion seeds. He then turned to Sucrose. She was still watching a sweet flower react with a chemical she made, writing it down.
"Should I say something? She's not really looking at me..." Albedo thought. He shrugged it off, walking out.
"Bye, Sucrose." He said.
