The Vampire Princess ( Ciel x reader )

Chapter 2

He hummed in response,
" I do recall my young master telling me there'll be a guest, come in,"

You walked past him, smelling the scent of a demon radiating off him. You knew instantly that his butler was no ordinary butler, he was a demon. That makes you realise that Ciel Phantomhive made a contract with him.

Sebastian lead you to his office where he works most of the day, the sunlight peeking through some of the windows. He knocked on the door before hearing a faint ' come in '. You walked in with the demon butler to see Ciel Phantomhive at his desk.

He looked no older than you and had dark blue hair with an eyepatch. He had pale skin and had beautiful, ocean blue eye (?). He glanced at you with an emotionless expression,
" You must be ' The Shadow ', the Queen informed me you'd be here,"

You nodded with hum,
" Yeah, that's me, I'm guessing we'll be working together for a while,"

He nodded in response before getting up and walking towards you. You were slightly shorter than him, but only an inch. He held out his hand towards you,
" Nice to finally meet you, "

You took his hand in yours and shook it with a slight smile,
" Nice to meet you too, Ciel Phantomhive,"

He walked back over and sat back down behind his desk, extending his arm to the chair in front of it, signalling you to sit down. You sat down as he exclaimed,
" I've heard you have an ability that can show the truth in someone, it will also help in crime cases, am I correct?"

You nodded,
" You're correct, I can use it around 3 times a day, if I push myself to far I begin to feel dizzy and I'll soon pass out due to the lack of energy I used, I'll only push myself if necessary,"

He examined your features, trying to find if you're lying, and you aren't. He gave you a bag that held a dagger with dry blood on it with a picture of a woman. She had brown hair and green eyes.

He exclaimed,
" This is a dagger used to kill an innocent girl at the age of 23. She was killed behind a bar in town, her body was left in the alley to rot. I want you to figure out who the murder is and give me a brief summary on what happened,"

' Why don't you do it yourself,' you gave him a nod with a fake smile as you inhaled, getting ready for the flashbacks before slowly taking out the knife and placing it in your gloved hands.

Your eyes turned pure black, not a sight of bright colour in sight. This alarmed the two a bit as they stared at you in interest.

There was a woman exiting the pub, she wasn't drunk or happy at all. She sobbed, her pain reaching your heart. You heard another girl behind her,
" Wait! It's not what it looks like!"

She ran into the alley and cried in the corner with her knees up to her chest. Footsteps approached to see a man with a sickly grin. He wore a long coat and had messy hair.

He grinned,
" What's a girl like you doing out here?"

She sniffled,
" Bartender? What are you doing out here? Aren't you supposed to be working?"

Before she knew it a dagger was placed in her heart, the pain coursing through your veins. You watched as blood flowed and stained her clothes before she dropped dead, her eyes showing no signs of life.

He chuckled before placing the dagger in the bin before heading back inside the pub.

Your eyes went back to their normal state as you looked at a shocked Ciel,
" The bartender who works at the pub did it, the woman ran out crying due to heartbreak, which I'm guessing someone close to her cheated on her with her boyfriend. The bartender punctured this dagger through her heart and placing it in the bin beside her body,"

He was taken aback by your explanation before smirking slightly as you gave him the bag back that contains the dagger,
" It is true about your power, that will be quite useful. Sebastian, show her to her room beside mine,"

He nodded, placing his hand on his heart,
" Yes, my lord",

He led you to your room down the hall, which was beside Ciel's room. You walked in to see a decent sized room. The walls were F/C with a Queen sized bed. There was a bathroom in the corner that contained a bath with closets across from your bed at the other side of the room.

You hummed in response, quite impressed at the interior of the room. You turned to Sebastian,
" I wonder what a demon is doing here in a posh place like this, did you find a good soul to devour?,"

You smirked, knowing you shocked him but also ticked a nerve. You were pinned against the wall with a knife against your neck, his eyes glowing red slightly,
" How do you know about me being a demon?"

You chuckled, not even startled by his movements. You purposely showed your fangs as you smiled,
" It wasn't that hard once I smelt the demon scent radiating off you,"

His eyes widened slightly, realisation hitting him hard,
" You're vampire,"

You were now at the other end of the room due to using your vampire speed. He turned to look at you with a serious look.

You laughed,
" There's no need for that reaction, I'm bringing you no harm, besides I only strike at midnight in town, and no I don't kill my victims, unlike my family,"

He slowly put his knifes away as you stretched your arms,
" If you don't mind its way past my bedtime, but I guess I'll have to get used to the schedule of my bedtime is now the night and not the day, which pisses me off slightly,"

Sebastian commented,
" You can rest, I'll cover you up and tell him you're tired from your trip here,"

You raised an eyebrow with a smile,
" That's very nice of you, Sebastian,"

He walked past you before you grabbed his arm ; causing him to look down at you,
" Speak of this to Ciel, or anyone in general, I won't hesitate to slowly tear this manor apart,"

He nodded,
" I won't speak a word,"

You closed the door after he walked out before opening the closet to see a variety off clothes that were set out for you. You closed the closet as you decided to sleep in your undergarments and bra.

You took your outfit off before heading to bed, sleep slowly overcoming you.
