"You WHAT?!?"

Eddie's voice cracked

I ran out of the trailer, Eddie hot on my tail

"Guys! My powers are gone!"

Everyone's heads snapped towards me. I could see everyone's faces switch to frowns

"What?"

Steve walked over to us

"They're gone, I can't do anything anymore"

"Maybe you just overworked yourself"

He placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder

"Maybe your right"

We all huddled up around a table. I was next to eddie, holding his hand. He squeezed it every so often.

We talked about what we were gonna do next

It was my job to help Eddie and Dustin distract the demo bats

"Alright let's go" Nancy chimed

We hopped into the camper and Steve started driving

I was sitting in the back, between Robin and Eddie. Eddie was holding my hand, whilst rubbing his thumbs along my knuckles

The whole trailer was quiet, the air was thick and tense. There was a sense of darkness over us.

Once we made it to the kreal house, I got up and hugged max, Lucas, and Erica.

"Be careful"

I squeezed Max's hand

"I'll try" she smiled with sympathy

With that they hopped out of the camper

I sat back down next to Eddie and Robin, playing with the rings Eddie gave me.

We drove off in a Huff. I could feel robins gaze on me. I turned my head and smiled warmly at her.

She smiled back, and rested her head on my shoulder

After some time, we made it back to Eddie trailer

We all sat in the back. In front of us stood nancy

She had been explaining a plan to us

"Okay, I wanna run through it one more time"

I sighed

"Phase one" she started

"we meet Erica at the playground. She'll signal max and Lucas when we're ready. " Robin spoke

"Phase two"

She looked at steve

"Max baits vecna. He'll go after her which'll put him in his trance" he recited

"Phase three"

She looked at me

"Me, Dustin and Eddie draw the bats away"

Eddie put a hand on Dustins head

"Four"

It was Robin's turn to talk

"We head into vecnas newly bat-free lair, and-"

She shook the bottle in her hand

"Flame"

"Nobody moves on to the next phase until we've all copied, nobody deviates from the plan, no matter what. Got it?"

She looked at us for approval

"Got it" we all spoke in unison

We ran through the street and into eddies trailer
