I was cleaning some tapes at my new job I got at the video store with Steve and robin. They were arguing about something when Dustin and max ran in

"How many phones do you guys have?" He questioned us. "We have two?" I responded confused "Technically we have three if you include Keith's" robin butted in "three will work"

"What is this all about?" I ask confused.
We have a few leads on where Eddie could be. When I heard that I coughed
"You okay? You look like you seen a ghost!" Steve gave me a look of concern
"Yeah. Um why are you looking for him again?" "To see what happened, now let's find him"

Dustin slid his bag on the counter, then himself "My tapes! I just put those away!!" Steve started throwing a fit. Then max jumped over.

Whilst they were calling all there leads, I couldn't help but over think this, knowing where he is and all. Helping customers was hard too, trying to stay focused. Robin saw me zoning out putting some tapes away in the horror section

"Hey steve?" She called him over "yeah? " "can you check on her? She's been acting weird since they got here" "sure thing" he walked over to me, but I was still zoned out, not noticing his presence

"Y/n? You okay?" "Oh yeah, sorry" he startled me. "You've been acting weird. What's up?" "Oh you know, lame arse drunk father who hits me" I said that last part in a sarcastic tone to make it sound less bad "has he gotten worse? You have bruises on your cheek" "oh no that was my fault, I hit my face on the playground equipment at the park.

" oh okay, are you sure?" "Yeah!"
"Oh yeah I almost forgot, how did it go with your mysterious crush?" "Oh uh it went great! We finally kissed!" "EEEEEKKK" he screamed he grabbed my arm and brought you back to robin and told her "EEEEEEkkk" she screamed too, "will you finally tell us who now??" She gave me a look of hope "nope" i smiled warmly as her smile dropped "maybe one day"

After a little while longer  they found where he was, we all hopped into Steve's car and st off on our journey to find Eddie, even though I knew where he was already.

We arrived at the boathouse I had been to before and got out of the car, we all walked up to the house in front of the boathouse "Eddie! Reffer Rick!" Dustin started yelling "Dustin shhhh!! They're still looking for him!"  I scolded him like i were his mom.
"Guys over there!" Max pointed to the boat house.

We walked to the boathouse and opened the door. You were the first to go in "Eddie" Dustin yelled as he came in after me. There was no one in sight. Steve found an ore and started poking the tarp that was on the boat.

"What are you doing?" Dustin gave Steve a weird look, "someone might be in there!" Steve poked harder and we all heard a scream, Eddie jumped out the tarp, holding a broken beer bottle from the ones I had gotten him, up to Steve's neck

I screamed in surprise, he gave me a confused look still holding the bottle up to steve. "Y/n? I thought you were coming tomorrow" everyone looked at you in confusion "surprise!" You were still embarrassed.

"You knew where he was and didn't tell us?" Dustin voice cracked"He didn't want me telling anyone! I wasn't about to break his trust!" You snapped back at  him "a little help here!" Steve yelled over the two of you "eddie, he's cool I promise, remember that night at the park? That was him I was talking about"

Eddie eventually let go of him, you ran to Steve and cupped his face in your hands, whilst the others were talking to eddie. "Any cuts?" "No I'm fine" "good."

I let him go and plopped down next to Eddie grabbing onto his hand and holding it, his eyes met mine. Then back to the floor. Dustin gave me a confused look, then he continued talking. Eddie said everything he told me, whilst  holding my hand. Squeezing it when he explained how she died.

I stayed there and talked for a few more minutes, until everyone left I stayed behind so I could talk to him. "Hey" you smiled still holding his hand
"Hey" he sighed giving you a tired smile
"Y/n. I feel like I'm going insane. Do you guys really believe me?" "Of course we do! Like we said we've been through monsters and DnD demons before"

"Can I? Um, can I have a hug?" I was surprised at his request, but i complied "of coarse you can" you sat there hugging him for a good 5 minutes, just enjoying each other's company.

"She's taking soooo long! Why is she in there anyways??" Dustin complained
"Isn't it weird that they were holding hands too?" "No she was just comforting him" max added. "I'll go get her" Robin sighed.

She walked down to the boathouse looking in the windows, she saw us standing there hugging.

He pulled his head away from my shoulder and looked down at me.  I smiled, he returned that smile with a innocent kiss. I squeezed him one more time before making my way out of the boathouse

"So that's your secret crush?" Robin scared me "oh uh no" "don't lie, you just kissed him" "please don't tell the others, or anyone for that matter" "my lips are sealed" "thank you" i sighed in relief.

I can't stop thinking about him. He's everything to me now, I've liked him, for ever. Ever since my first day of freshman year, when I joined the hellfire club.

I always had the feeling that he might like me back, but now I know for sure.

I laid in my bed thinking about him all night. Thank god my dad was asleep and didn't notice me gone

A/n: we have a longer chapter today 😍 omg I love him sm y'all.

I am a little scared thought because I have a theory about him. I think he might die in the next part. Now I know what your thinking "WHAT" but in the trailer it shows him playing the guitar in the upside down. I think that's him trying to save Nancy from vecna. And that vecna will get him in the process. I mean he suffered trauma when chrisi died. I know it's a shot in the dark. But I'm scared might happen.
