"Anymore news doctor lace?" You asked the nurse as she wondered out of jacks room.

"He's still not responding." She sighed "if he doesn't respond soon I will have to move him to our critical care unit in ward 523."

"Is there nothing more you can fo for him." You teared up as Lauren wrapped her arms around you.

"Not in this unit, I think he needs to be put into an induced coma with strong antibiotics." The nurse chewed down on her lip.

"No...no! He can't he's strong he'll pull threw it!" You cried out as Declan and mason rushed to grab you, as you dropped out of Lauren's arms the boys catching you before you hit the floor.

"Emily listen to me yeah?" Mason softly whispered into your ear as you nodded slightly. "jacks strong but if that's what the doctor think is best let her do what she needs to do to help him ems." You grabbed into masons arm crying into Declan.

"Em, you've got to be strong...Karen will be bringing teddie and true here soon." Lauren spoke softly trying to calm you.

"I can't!" You cried. "Jacks not even responding now!"

"Emily, listen to me, Jack needs more help that's all he would hate for you to sit here like this." Declan softly spoke running your back.

"O-okay." You sniffled.

"Kevin and Karen won't be long with the kids now em." Mason nodded picking you up in his strong arms seating you on a big reception chair.

"Okay." You whimpered.

Mason sighed wrapping his arms around you sitting you down in a chair next to him holding you tightly against his warmth, you buried your knees into your chest burying your head into masons neck. Your body went limp and all you can remover was everything turning black.

"Mommy?" You heard true whisper into your ear.

"Mmhm..." you mumbled feeling someone squeezing your hand gently, bringing you back around from sleep.

"Hey sleepy head." Mason chuckled "you must of really needed that sleep."

"Mhm, how long have I been asleep?" You breathed sitting up realising it was masons hand intertwined with yours, you saw Karen and Kevin and realised masons hand straight away.

"Erm...around three hours." Mason mumbled chewing the inside of his lip.

"Emily! Are you okay sweetie!" Karen smiled softly you glanced over she was sat in front teddie asleep in her lap and true colouring by masons feet.

"Yeah, I'm okay" you smiled softly "how about you two?"

"Where okay, we've heard no more on jack yet." Karen sighed looking down at teddie at rocking his fluffy brown curls.

"I guessed." You shook your head "they don't tell you a lot here."

"Thank you for watching these two." You smiled softly looking down at true.

"They've been no trouble, teddie was very tired." Karen smiled "I think he's worried about his dad."

"He's bound to be, I think we're all worried about j."

"True?" You whispered as her brown eyes met yours, "come give moma a huggy?"

True climbed onto your lap throwing her arms around your neck cuddling into you, your hands stroked her soft long, curly brown hair. You watched as her brown eyes closed her long lashes peaking out at all angels like her dads, you smiled down at her pressing a light kiss to her cheek watching her little dimples appear slightly mason glanced over at you smiling.

"Jacks strong." Mason whispered into your ear
"he's going to be okay." He smiled.

"Thanks mase," you smiled softly.
"Thank you for putting up with me today too." You laughed quietly.

"Anytime em, can we talk about last month." Mason quietly spoke as Karen's eyes shot pu glaring at you and mason, you gulped.

"Mase, not here, not now."

"Emily...I think me and you should have a chat, don't you?" Karen smiled.

"Erm...yeah...okay." You nervously swallowed.

"Outside." She asked nodding towards the exit door.

"Sure." You smiled, you wondered out leaving true with Kevin and teddie talking to mason about football.... Karen eventually came and sat down next to you.

"You and mason then?" Karen sighed "I've got to say I never expected that." She laughed to herself shocking you how okay she was with it.

"Does Jack know em?" Karen bit the inside of cheek nervously waiting for your answer.

"No..." you sighed "it happened once on a drunk night out after Jack left, me and made decided to keep it quite."

"So you and mason..." you cut her off.

"There is no me and mason."

"Will there ever be?" Karen asked.

"No."

"I think Jack has the right to know." Karen sighed, your heart dropped...you loved jack, it would break him.

"No! Karen please! He can't find out!" You stressed "masons his best friend they'll be on the pitch together! Jack will hate us both! You and me both know it will break Jack."

"He'll find out sooner or later em." " I'm his mum, I can't lie to him...Jack loves you."

"I can't hurt him k."

"It will hurt him either way Emily." She sighed.

"I won't say anything." Karen sighed. " I think it should come from you and mason."

"O...okay."

And just that moment nurses and doctors rushed threw the double doors, shouting to each other the next thing was loud bleeping machines...someone had stopped breathing... you and Karen looked at one another, your heart dropped and you both gulped in sync you wasn't ready for what you heard next...

"STAMMERED BREATHING!!" One nurse shouted to another fetching machines.

"ROOM 44 CARDIAC ARREST!!" Your heart dropped and you fell to the floor, as Declan and mason ran out the door to you and Karen with kevin and Lauren.

"JACK GREALISH!" You heard a doctor plead.

"CPR!"

"NOT GOOD!"

"NO SIGNS OF BREATHING!"

"I NEED OCYGEN AT NUMBER TEN."

"DADDY!" True shouted as teddie rushed threw the doors you immediately took your kids in your arms, comforting them tears rolled down your cheeks.
