"Emily lovely?" Jacks mom Karen shouted from your front door as you watched teddie and trues faces light up.

"Karen! Hi!" You smiled.

"Hi lovely! How you doing?" She exclaimed smiling brightly as she took teddie in one arm and true in the other cuddling them both tightly.

"I'm as good as good can be k, how are you and Kevin?" You smiled wondering into the kitchen with true and Karen following behind.

"We're so good darling, I'm so glad I've caught you in, your so busy Kiera tells me." Karen smiled softly.

"It's mainly filming and occasional brand modelling jobs, and taking teds and true to clubs...teddie football training on a Friday and he plays every two weeks on a Sunday...and then true goes to dance on a Wednesday." You laughed shacking your head slightly.

"Oh my god...you really are that busy!" She laughed smiling at true then glancing over to teddie who had opened the patio doors sitting in the garden.

"Is teds okay em?" Karen whispered over to you pulling your attention away from your daughter.

"I think he's been missing jack lately, true stayed with her dad last night and teddie had the day off today he said his tummy was hurting him so he stayed at home with me." You sighed softly smiling over at your son.

"Was he sitting on his phone, or was he sleeping all day?" Karen laughed...teddie reminded her so much of jack.

"No to be fair...he sat and watched a fjord or film with me helped me empty the washing machine and put it away, then he came to get true from nursery with me."

"We'll I decided to come down here yesterday I stopped in a hotel, Kevin's out with jack but hell be seeing the kids at jacks match with mancity on Sunday I presume?" Karen quarried.

"Yeah course! Me and the kids live watching him play, plus they've really missed you lot back in Birmingham it's such a big change being here." You sighed.

"And how are you getting on without jack being here luv?" Karen softly pressed.

"Never gets any easier then when he first left." You sighed shrugging your shoulders smiling softly over at her as she sympathetically smiled back.

"Me and Kev are hoping you two would of sorted this out by now...you know...for teddie and trues sake?" Karen sighed.

"No...not this time sorry k." You shrugged shacking the guilt off.

"I've just got some feed to post for my social media, you can go out in the garden with the kids if you want." You smiled.

"I was going to ask I know you've not had the kids his weekend jack did...but can teddie and true come back to the hotel with me and Kev...we'd love to have them for just one night because we go back home after jacks match." Karen smiled pleading you with her eyes...how could you say no.

"I suppose so...teddie, true?!"

"Yeah!" They both replied as teddie appeared threw the patio door way.

"How do you fancy going to stop at a five star hotel with me and your grandad for a night?!" Karen exclaimed as both of there faces lighted up.

"Yes!"

"Teah!" True excitedly clapped.

"I'll go get there over night bags packed up!" You laughed heading up the stairs.

Once you'd packed trues and teddies over night bags up, you packed them into the boot of Karen and Kevin's car. You and Karen sat down chatting for a while, whilst teddie did some homework and true coloured a picture of a giraffe in. Once the kids had whined down for a bit Karen agreed to get them both to school in the morning, Jack would pick them up and bring them back.

"You should go out after you've done your media stuff em, you never get a break!" Karen smiled wrapping her arms around you hugging you.

"Aww, I'll see...thanks for popping in Karen." You smiled hugging her back before taking teddie and true in your arms hugging them tightly kissing both of there heads.

"And you two be good for nan and grandad, I love you both se suit tomorrow have a nice night!" You exclaimed as they both ran to Karen's Range Rover hoping in.

"I'll go plug true into her car seat, you get a good night out Emily you deserve it." Karen smiled nudging your shoulder.

"I know I just feel...guilty." You swallowed.

"I know em, your bound to hug jack goes out and let's the headlines rule his life don't let it rule yours!" She smiled.

"Ty ask you Karen, your right." You smiled.

"You should try get back to dating? It might help you and Jack move on." Karen smirked as you hurts out laughing.

"Maybe...I don't think I'm quite ready for that though!" You giggled...

"Right see you soon remover what I've said...me and Kevin are always here for you Emily and the kids!" Karen smiled kissing your head.

"Thanks K."

She wondered of plugging true into the back of the car, she you waved them off leaving you with your thoughts of what Karen had suggested. Maybe dating would not only help you it would also help jack, maybe it would help you both learn to let go and move on...or would that just make it all worse. You decided to post some brand deal modelling shots on your media before going to message the girls...maybe a night out was what you needed...after all jack was doing it...right?

Later on that same night...

"Emily babe?" Lauren shouted threw to you from the living room whilst you poured some drinks, she'd not been with you long.

"Yeah?" You poked your head around the door seeing Lauren's face change as her eyes met yours...

"Laur?" You gulped.

"I'm so sorry." She chocked up...your heart stopped.

"Laur...what?" You swallowed nervously feeling your heart beating out of your chest...the feeling of cold flooding threw your body making you shiver.

"Emily...sit...down." Lauren whispered her voice hoarse.

"No! Lauren...tell me now!" You chocked.

"It's....jack...." Her hand covered her mouth as she stared into your eyes...your heart fell.

"W...what..." you teared up.

"We've...got...to...go...to...the...hospital." Lauren swallowed away her tears.

"Lauren...what's going on?" You croaked out.

"Decs just messaged me...jacks...not in a good way Emily."

"Get my car keys now!" A tear slipped from your eyes as you grabbed your jacket and phone running out of the house with Lauren.
