I slowly opened my eyes, my head was hurting , I somehow got up and looked around, it was the same dark ice cave with sharp icicles and flowstones hanging from the ceiling , the hellicities covering either side of the passage with crystals of ice stacked near the bottom and the azure light coming from the crystals.
" Ava..", a familiar voice crept to my ears, my heart flinched as I heard her I hesitated to turn around , my eyes moistened.
" Ava", I looked back. My eyes got filled with tears as I saw her.
" Mila…", I ran towards her and hugged her as I burst into tears.
" Ava.. I missed you..", her voice sounded so sweet and polite, I never thought her voice would make me cry even harder.
" Ava!", I looked up and saw Jay, Bonnie, Austin, Lacy, Sameul and Johan.
" Guys.. you all..", I ran over to them hugging them, they hugged me back.
" We can finally go back!!!"I cried cheerily but then I saw their countenance slowly turn grave. Fear struck me as I saw them looking towards me and then down to the floor.
" What… happened.."
" Ava.. ", Mila walked towards me and held my hands.
" I would love to go back with you, spend the time again together with all of our friends but.."
" But what Mila!"my heart shook, my breath almost stopped.
" Tell me what it is!"
" We failed to save ourselves.. we fell in the trap", tears flowed down her face, she sniffled.
" But.. you survived and we would be happy to see you getting back to our world happily , our time is over and we have to go, Ava."
" No.. this can't be!! How did you fall in the trap?? Aren't you guys.. attacked by the pirates.."
" Those pirates were sent by Calicio, he sent them so that we get freed before we fall in Cordelo's trap but some of us fell in the whirlpool.. umm..let's not talk about this.. either way, we no longer have our heart beating with the warm blood, but your body is warm, you are alive. You have you rest of your life to live, take it as a bad dream..", she said and hastily took out the ring from my hand, the one that I found inside the ship and with great force he threw the ring on the floor which got broken as it fell on the ground and a white blinding light engulfed us and I could barely see anything."
