Lazy ass!

• Third person Pov •

Temari was walking throughout the Leaf Village. She was just wandering as it was a Sunday morning and she had no tasks to complete at the moment. She had no specific destination but rather she was just wandering. She was deep in her thoughts battling some internal conflict. She was debating on her feelings.

' But do I actually love him in that way? '

She questioned herself because she has not felt this way before. Sure she has had small crushes before but she has never felt like this. Every time she looks into his eyes it feels like her stomach has suddenly filled with a million little butterflies. His smile makes her light headed to where she feels like she'll pass out of she stares to long.

' But he sees me like a sister. He'd never see me in that way '

As she continued to debate with herself she didn't notice who was walking not to far up ahead. Still, in her own thoughts she walked without a care right in to no other then-

" Ow! "

Temari yelped as she stumbled back.

" Sorry Temari! "

The boy replied to her exasperation with a sweet clumsy smile. Temari regained her balance and glared at the brown haired boy.

"SHIKAMARU! WATCH WHERE YOU'ER GOING!"

She exclaimed in raised tone almost to the point of screaming.

" Hey, I wasn't the one lost in my thoughts walking carelessly around a village full of people."

To witch he shortly then after mumbled to himself,

"What a drag"

Temari walked up to him and poked him on the forehead.

"Shut up lazy ass! You owe me for attempting to murder me"

She said as if she felt she was entitled to compensation for the traumatic experience she was just put through.

"Oh yeah? What do I owe you? If anyone owes things it's you. Your the one who is always punching me."

He said in mockingly tone sounding as if she had been abusing him since he was a small child.

"It's only because you deserve it lazy ass!"

She replied to his seemingly child-ish remark.

"Yeah yeah, okay, what do you want from me?"

She paused for a moment and stood there silently as she pondered on her reward for the act of violence that was just brought apon her.

"How about you take me to get some food, I'm really hungry"

She said as she rubbed her stomach in a circular motion as if it would dramatisize how hungry she was and convince Shikamaru that she was starved.

"I guess. What a drag."

He replied hesitantly in a somewhat irrated tone.

"So much for my alone time"

He sighed as she smiled at him in a somewhat mischievous way.

The two of them began walking around the village discussing potential places for them to stop and eat. After about ten minutes of debating on where to stop they ended up coming to a mutual agreement to stop and eat at Ichiraku's Ramen. When they arrived they were a bit surprised as to not see Naruto there. This is usually around the time he goes out to eat lunch. They both went in and sat down at the counter to have something to eat.
