• Third person Pov •

Not long after Temari and Shikamaru finished eating their lunch at Ichiraku's Ramen, Shikamaru walked her home. Which wasn't very far from where they had just been out eating their lunch.

"Hey thanks for walking me home lazy ass."

She smiled at him surprised he would take such a large amount of effort as to walk her all the way home.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. "

He replied in a slightly annoyed tone.

"See you tomorrow or sometime soon?"

She said in a questioning tone

"Yeah yeah, ill see you soon idiot "

She waved at him as he walked away. Then Temari went inside and to her room. She layed down on her bed and stared off at the ceiling. Not even ten minutes had gone by before she had received a call from Sakura.

"Hey Temari how have you been?"

"I've been good thanks"

"Ino is having a get-together at her place tonight and I was put on call duty"

"Oh? Who all will be there?"

" Don't worry your husband will be there"

She replied. You could almost see Sakura's smirk through the phone.

"He isn't my husband!"

Temari replied irratedly.

"Yeah yeah. Anyway we'll eat dinner and play some party games or something. It's gonna be a sleepover. The boys will be upstairs so we don't have to worry about them while we sleep. Be there at 5pm (17:00 military time)

Sakura replied

"Okay then I'll pack a bag to go."

"Alright I'll see you later Temari."

They hung up the phone. Temari got up and went in her closet to find a bag. She grabbed a green one and stuffed some pajamas and an outfit for the next day. She then put a tooth brush, a brush and some hair ties. She felt a bit tired so she decided to lay down. It was only 2:30 pm (14:30 military time) so she had plenty of time.

Temari awoke to the sound of a book falling off her desk. Slowly she sat up and looked out her window noticing how the sun was almost starting to set. She reached for her clock and turned it to face her.

"What time is it...?"

She questioned as she look at the clock in front of her. It read "4:59 pm" (16:59). Remember she had somewhere to be she jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom.

"Shit shit shit shit"

She mumbled to herself as she made sure she looked good before she left. She then grabbed the green bag she had packed earlier and dashed for the door. She ran as fast as humanly possible to Ino's house. Unfortunately for her Ino happened to live about fifteen minutes away from her so it was a bit of a hike. Nonstop, she ran half of the distance before taking a break.

She then proceeded to run the rest of the distance without stopping once until she was on Ino's porch. She had made it there in under 10 minutes. She knocked on the door and Sakura let her in.
