During the time all of this was going on at the citadel, Athootita had made her way to Atton's tribe. As she made her way through the gates, Atton was standing there as if he could sense she was coming. They spent the next several hours going over everything that happened.

"So, what do you think all this means?" asked Athootita. "What is a transference, and what does it have to do with these voices I've been hearing, the old woman I met at the wellspring, the visions I am having, my sisters, fighting?"

"Calm down and take a deep breath, little steed," replied Atton placing his hand on her shoulder.

Atton thought to himself that this is what Pathos had feared would happen. Then, looking into Athooita's eyes, he began to speak.

"Before we go any further into this, there is something I think you need to see. Then, after you do, I think things will start making sense."

Athootita had a puzzled look on her face, but she trusted Atton and knew if he felt this would help, she should go along. The two walked deep into the tribe and arrived at a waterfall.

"Okay, what is it you need to show me? I've already seen this waterfall before," said Athootita in a confused tone.

Atton shook his head, took her hand, and placed it on a rock. He then put his on the other side of it. The rock began to glow, and then a light appeared and began to move towards the waterfall. Next, the ground started to shack as the waterfall water slipt in two, showing an entrance to a cave.

"After you," said Atton as he made a hand gesture towards the cave. As we made our way through, we ended up at an underground oasis. I saw two boys playing together. I reconsider one of them. It was Drákon, the clan elder Nemean, and the former herald Drakaina.

Athootita turned to look at Atton and said, " I recognize Drákon, but who is the little boy with him?"

"That would be your nephew, Athootita," replied Atton. "He is the son of Nemean and Yperifaneia."

In shock, Athootita stepped back and started shaking her head frantically. "That can't be," she said. "Everyone ones that the Goddess blesses The High Priestess with only girls to continue the cycle."

"Think about it, Athootita," replied Atton in a serious tone, still facing the two boys. "Yperifaneia has been The High Priestess for a while now. By now, she should have at least had one child, if not more."

Still, in disbelief from what Atton was saying, she replied, "She hasn't had the time with everything that has gone on during her time in the role. Plus, there is just no one that could happen."

"It could if she had lost her connection to the Goddess," said Atton, turning to face her. "You have been left in the dark for too long. It's time you learned the truth about what happened during the final battle Zeultimpuluisialspatiului and the part your sister played in it."

Atton then spent the next serval hours explaining everything that Pathos had told him. He even told her about what the Energunites explained to Pathos about what it meant for Yperifaneia to have a boy and how this led to a transference.

"So you mean to tell me that because ofeverything she did during that battle led to her losing her connection to the Goddess?" asked Athootita.

Atton nodded.

"But that doesn't explain why the transference would be happening to me," continued Athootita. "I'm a horrible handmaiden who does everything wrong and doesn't know anything about any of this. Why would the Goddess pick me to give these abilities?"

"Do you really believe so little of yourself, Athootita?" asked Atton. "Because I couldn't think of anyone better for the role. You truly care for everyone you meet. When everyone was standoffish to the Kineticvoyiny that settled on our world, you opened them with welcome arms. You always try to see the beauty in everything. It's what made me fall in love with you."

"Made you what?" exclaimed Athootita in shock.

Atton grinned and walked over and kissed her on the lips. "It's what made me fall in love with you," he said again.

"I. I don't know what to say," replied Athootita scrambling for the right words to say.

"I mean, all of that kinda makes up for you being lazy, irresponsible, easy to temper, and that high pitch sound you make when you get excited," said Atton with a wink.

"Oh, shut up, Atton!" yelled Athootita. "Of course, you'd find a way to ruin that sweet moment."

"Aww, you two finally admitted your love for each other," said a shaky voice from behind. "I'm glad I made it to the day it finally happened."

Athootita and Atton turned to see Pathos barely standing. She was drenched, and blood kept flowing out of her at an alarming rate.

"Oh my goodness, Pathos," cried out Athootita. "What in Theatisdimiourgias name happened to you!"

Pathos passed out on the ground as Athootita and Atton ran to her side.
