KENNEDY'S POV
Everyone was so excited for the big event at our university, the pageant contest in every department. I sat in the last row so that I would be able to see all the audience. Well, I was avoiding my friends because they would tease me nonstop. And of course, they want our plan to be successful, which is finding that girl. I'll give this a shot!
I saw Sierra, and she was stunning, she's out of this world. I only focused my eyes on her despite the fact that she has a lot of suitors, fans, and admirers, and I'm one of them, but I am a silent suitor.
I turned to my left and saw someone who looked familiar. I was a hundred percent sure that she was Sierra's cousin and best friend. Her name was Zary? Ari? Zara? I had already forgotten her name. I found you!
"Hoy Zachariah mag cheer ka naman!" they told her and they give they her a light stick.
So her name is Zachariah... As I looked at her, she was staring at Sierra, her eyes filled with sadness and a hint of jealousy. They seemed so different. I had heard that she was a smart student, ranking the highest in their department, but had few friends. Despite that, damn, she was simply beautiful.
My mission right now is to get close to Sierra so Zachariah may be helpful to me along the way. A minute later, she looked towards my direction, and I was stunned. She seemed kind of scary and intimidating. Cringe. I looked away. It seemed like she already knew what I was planning. Does she read minds?
When they announced the winner, I was genuinely happy for Sierra's new achievement. All of the students rushed to the stage to take photos of their representatives. This was my perfect opportunity to ask Zachariah for help. I took a deep breath, counted to three...
"Breathtakingly beautiful, isn't it?" she looked at me, questioning.
"Precisely..." she whispered.
"And so are you..." she shot me that look again, and suddenly, I felt conflicted. Did I really want to go through with this plan? Should I cancel it and try to win Sierra's heart on my own? But then again, I needed help, and I didn't know what to do.
I quickly grabbed the flowers from my chair and handed them to her.
"F-flowers," I stammered, feeling embarrassed at my sudden nervousness. My hands were shaking as I gave them to her.
"Remain calm, Kennedy," I told myself, though I couldn't help but feel incredibly nervous.
As I saw all of Sierra's suitors on stage, a surge of determination coursed through me. I knew I would win this battle.
"And you are taking advantage of all her suitors, huh?" she said, crossing her arms as her eyebrows arched.
I am not really taking advantage, but I call this a smart tactic. I know I have a mysterious aura, but no one can resist my handsomeness. Well, I have to be low-key handsome. So, should I offer her a bribe?
"Basta pagkain! G!" she giggled as I saw her wonderful smile. I felt relieved now. Mabilis pa lang siyang kausap.
Afterward, we headed to the cafeteria, and I ordered her a mango cake and a chocolate milkshake, while I opted for dark chocolate and a blueberry cheesecake. As I observed her, she didn't seem intimidating while eating. She wasn't particularly friendly, but her attitude was undeniably attractive. Smart girls and alpha supremacy—it was an intriguing combination.
"So, tell me... What do you want Mr. Kennedy?" she inquired curiously.
"I want to make a deal" I feel like I'm a boss chilling in a chair.
