"Now then, Yoimiya, tell us a bit about this boyfriend of yours..."
She took a deep breathe and opened her eyes, still squinting slightly because of the bright light on her. "His name is Itto Arataki. Lately his behavior has been super weird. It feels like he's definitely hiding something from me but, he's always been really honest. It's gotta be something really bad."
"Oh I think I know that guy! Is he tall and oddly muscular with white hair? I have PE with him." You asked.
"Yep! That's him~."She replied.
"He sounds like an interesting dude, can you tell us more? Perhaps a bit about the girl you suspect he might be cheating with?" Yanfei asked.
"Well its not a girl... I know it sounds far fetched but, I think he might be cheating on me with Ayato..."
Silence fell upon the room. A couple jaws dropped, reasonably so.
"Isn't that the Student Council President?" Kuki questioned slowly.
"It is." Kazuha replied."Yoimiya, how exactly did you come to this conclusion? It's not like Ayato to do something like that." He asked.
"Well, aside from that fact that they've been spending a lot of time together, there's like, tons of suspicious stuff! Ayato has been letting Itto go into the student council room a lot lately, even though almost no non-council members are allowed in there."
Suddenly, she began to speak in a sort of hush-hush tone. "And between the six of us... Itto doesn't really have the uh, mental capacity to understand any of the work the student council does. So what use would he have for going inside? Also, during break hour, they always go outside to the most isolated part of the school yard where nobody can see them. I asked to come with once, but Itto just said, "It's a guy thing babe, you wouldn't understand it." Ugh! Worst of all, one time I was in the hallway and I spotted them walking together. I was about to say hi but, I saw them give each other a reallyyyy weird look and then enter the boys bathroom together!"
"Well thats definitely a reason to arouse suspicion..." Heizou said.
"Yea not to mention pretty disturbing to think about..." You shivered at the sheer thought of what those shared looks could've implied.
"Well Yoimiya, I don't think we have anymore questions for you. We'll start investigating Itto. We'll make sure to update you on our findings soon." Heizou said, turning the lights on.
"Thank you guys! Especially you Y/N!"
Yoimiya gave you a sudden large, tight hug. You were a bit taken aback by this, but after a moment you hugged her back. You couldn't help but notice that she smelled a bit of smoke and flowers.
"No problem, the Detective Club is on the case!"
Yoimiya exited with a pleasant smile. Once she left, the club members sat back down with Heizou at the head of the table.
"Alright guys. Does anyone have any ideas what our first course of action could be?" He asked.
"Well, I'm pretty familiar with Amber, she's also in the student council. I could ask her some questions about Itto and Ayato? Oh, and since I have PE with them both I can try to keep an eye on them." You explained
