I'm actually kinda proud of this fanfic and like it better than Jeweled Blood so I'll probably keep posting more

4000 Years Later- Reader POV

"It's time. Is everyone ready?" The lesser vampires bit their thumbs and forced a drop to fall. After, they healed and cheered.

"Ready for your orders, Queen (Y/n)!" They cheered and I nodded.

After the "eternal" freeze that only lasted about 3044 years, humans began living normally again, though melting at different rates for unknown reasons. Though they complained of the cold often, they pushed through it and you could tell where life was from how much snow was still at a given location. As such, I made my orders to gather the humans in one city gradually before we made our announcement. Though we did find some humans who survived during the eternal freeze and offered them immortality, to which they accepted quickly.

2500 years into the freeze and one of the main excuses made to gather the humans were monsters who hunted down humans but left us vampires, even seeming to fear Lest and I.

I used these monsters to my advantage, causing them to create a sort of barricade to trap these humans in here. We called these monsters Horsemen of Jon. I didn't understand their name, just agreeing to call them that.

Since we were ready, I let the vampires gather everybody in the city central while I climbed the broadcast tower the humans dedicated as a sort of news anchor. Once I was there, I had forced my entry by basically pushing the guards aside before I pointed my rapier to the prime minister, who was here to do a regular report.

"Greetings everyone. I'm sure you're all looking for answers from the incidents happening in the past month."

I said over the intercom while I saw cameras which let the broadcaster see people closer. It was a slight test to check it was on.

People were panicking but everyone stopped with the voice. The vampires had smirked, waiting as they listened. The common people in their everyday clothes were terrified as flames surrounded the lands.

"Stop it! The people need me to-" The prime minister began to beg but I repositioned my blade to her heart and I was firm as I spoke but did my best to not threaten her.

"I won't hesitate ma'am. I respect you enough to choose your life here as well. Got it." It wasn't much of a question but I did my best to convey with eyes that she should wait and listen. She was nervous but spoke. "Alright..." The prime minister mumbled and I nodded, turning back to the intercom and speaking.

"We are not human. Those of us in all white are vampires. We are searching the world now for those lucky enough to still be alive. The faction here is mine and have orders not to harm those who wish to live. If you wish to live, all we ask of you is obedience to the vampires, schedules, and blood donations. Five planes are arriving as I speak. And there is plenty of room for you and your family and friends. On those planes, I will further explain. But know that we will not kill those who follow those simple rules. Housings have also been made. 50,000 houses await in my domain. So there should be plenty for everyone."

The people were quiet after the speech as I set the intercom down, thinking I had turned it off. It could barely pick up my conversation with the prime minister.

"What schedule?" "No death will come to the humans who listen." The prime minister was pissed as I finally sheathed my rapier, clearly letting her see it and the katana. She got up, grabbing my shirt collar and snapping as she slightly lifted me, but not so far off that I couldn't touch the ground somehow.

"I demand an explanation! What do you plan to do to them? What schedule? How are you a vampire? How are those people vampires and how did I never know of this all!" She snapped at me. That was until she slammed me back and finally got a good look at my eyes.
