"Xander", I whisper not loud enough for him to hear, but loud enough to fill me with rage, fear, and pain.
He scans the room before stopping on my face. Xander looks like the same person I knew back in New York a year ago. His tousled, brown hair, and hazel eyes that seem to catch all insincere apologies to fake happiness.
He smirks, saunters over to the empty desk behind me, and plops down. My knuckles are white due to clenching the desk so hard.
"Miss me kitten?", Xander whispers in my ear.
My breathing accelerates and I can feel a panic attack coming. I need to get out of hear, and fast. I raise my shaking hand.
"Yes, Ms.Woods", the teacher asks me in a bored tone of voice.
"I need to go to the restroom. I'm having...girl problems. If you know what I mean", I tell him. The class snickers and Mr. Anders eyes widen.
"O-of c-course", he stutters obviously embarrassed.
The class roars with laughter as Mr. Anders face reddens. I run out of the classroom, make two rights, and slam the bathroom door open.
My face in the mirror is paler than usual and my eyes look haunted. I stumble to the last stall and close the door. As I stare at the blue, narrow stall door, my breathing slows.
Just as I'm about to stand it begins.

I excitedly pick my outfit out for my third date with Xander. It's a pair of bright white skinny jeans and a crop top that says #i'm taken. I strap my white gladiator sandal and fix my pearl white beanie on my red hair.
"Ding, Dong!", I hear as I walk down the stairs.
"Xander's here, honey", my mom screams with a giant smile.
I kiss her and Amber's cheek, and walk to our green door. My dad already had the "talk" with him on our first date. He glares at Xander whenever he sees him, anyways.
"You look beautiful", Xander presses a small kiss on the tip of my nose, as he closes the door behind me.
I giggle as he opens the car door for me. We drive to the restaurant singing along to "Don't",by Ed sheeran.
"Why hello there, may I take your order", a waiter my age winks at me, completely oblivious to Xander.
I shift under Xander's arm uncomfortably, and order the sundae with chocolate fudge and whip cream. Xander orders the same thing giving our waiter death glares.
The waiter practically ran away as fast as he could. I don't blame him. I rest my hand on Xander's bicep.
His once soft, brown eyes harden as he narrows his eyes at me. I try to scoot away on the seat we're sitting on but, he just tightens his hold on me.
"You've been a very bad girl, kitten", he whispers fiercely and I hear a soft click.
I look down and see a small Swiss Army knife in his hand. Before I can scream, he quickly stands up pulling me up with him, and leads me to the door.
When we get to his car I desperately try to loosen his grip on me by elbowing him in the stomach. Xander doesn't even flinch and he shoves me in his car locking the doors.
I pound at the windows yelling, but nobody can hear me. Tears roll down my cheeks as Xander gets in the car. He doesn't look at me, just starts driving to his own house.
There aren't any cars in his driveway, his parents are out of town.
Xander gets out, opens my door, and throws me over his shoulder. I scream and hit his back. He digs his nails into my legs and I yell as loud as I can.
He kicks the door open and runs upstairs with me over his shoulder. I sob when I realize that he took me all the way up to their attic.
" I'm only doing this because I love you. You need to be disciplined", he says softly throwing me onto the ground.
Bullsh**! My head hits the ground with a loud "Crack!" , and I see stars. Damn that hurt! I sit up, gently touching the back of my head.
My fingers are covered with sticky blood from my head. The next thing I know, I feel white-hot pain sear my left leg.
I open my eyes and meet Xander's soulless, brown eyes. He had sliced up my left thigh. All I see is red blood, all over my leg and spattered on the wood floor.
He then does the same thing to my right one, not caring about my loud cries of pain.
Xander softly kisses my lips, and I flinch feeling repulsed. Rage crosses his features and he throws the knife across the attic, and stomps out of the room slamming the door closed.
I start to drift off, the pain in my legs too much to bear when I realize something.
I just got my new phone from the Apple Store. I had stuffed it in my bra, forgetting to tell Xander about it. That could save my life.
My hands slowly take my phone out and I dial 911
"911, what's your emergency", a woman asks me. Thank god.
"Yes, my boyfriend has severely injured me. He sliced up my legs. I'm at 6678 Henderson Ave.", I tell her my voice breaks on the word "boyfriend".
"Help is on its way. I will alert your parents", her voice softens and I give her my parents numbers.
She stays on the line when I hear the door creak open. Xander emerges with a long and sleek knife. My vision blurs with tears, knowing that this is probably the end.
"He's here...please tell my parents I never wanted to leave", I whisper, hanging up. I hear sirens outside and Xander sits in front of me. I blink away my tears, awaiting my end.
"I never wanted it to be this way", he says tears forming in his eyes as he stabs the knife in my gut.
I gasp for air trying to take the knife out, yet fail miserably. He stumbles to the ground sobbing his heart out. My lungs fill with blood and I choke on my blood.
My last thought before I black out is of how I never told my family goodbye.

I sit on the toilet sniffling remembering how I almost died. My family and I moved to California after that. The mom died and everything changed.
"Are you okay", I hear a boy ask me. Wait....this is the girls bathroom. I open the stall door and come face to face with the blue-eyed boy.
