from that sunlit seas
these creatures creep in
thirsty for their fill
to hold me underwater
'til I'm still ,,

IT HAD BEEN OVER THIRTEEN YEARS, thirteen years since they had left inazuma, they reminisced when that kind woman had happily took them to the docks, offering her some books in response for the children she had, something to help with their education.

(y/n) had been staying somewhere called wangshu inn the innkeeper, verr goldet, was kind to let the teenager keep one of the rooms, in response for them to help keep the area safe, and help collect ingredients for smiley yanxiao.

basically help keeping the place safe, protected, clean, and helping those in need.

they remembered the day they first arrived, climbing off of that boat thirteen years ago had to be the best thing that ever happened to them, being greeted by kind faces, directing them through out the harbor and the long ways to the inn, their lips twitched into a smile, a mere one, upon recalling the memory of their kind faces. for a while they stayed with someone named ' madam ping. ' before eventually stepping out of her hair and moving onto the inn.

and thus for about, three years have they been at the inn. they hadn't grown to any regrets of leaving inazuma, it was terrible there, and they were almost positive that things had grown worse since the immortal being left the encasement of their mother's lack of care and the walls of that damned building.

currently, the (h/l) haired enby was making their way to a balcony; the one on the highest floor of the inn, they had kept a decent amount of plants there, seeing as verr goldet had allowed them too; quoting; ' it would be good to have some decoration on the balcony there. '

so here they were, keeping pots of glaze lilies, wind asters, and qingxin flowers. there wasn't a whole lot of pots, as they didn't want to hoard the plants on the balcony.

a watering can in hand they stepped foot onto the balcony, humming softly to themselves as they reached one of the newly bloomed qingxin flower, tipping the can ever so slightly, they let the lqiuid rain from it, watering the soil that contained the plant allowing it to grow and recieve the healthy nutrients it needed.

once the right amount of water was given, they turned to the other potted plants, finishing with the qingxins, then the wind asters, and finally, the glaze lilies.

upon using the last of the small water that was in the water can, they couldn't help but smile once more, they had felt more happy, than they had long a go, more, relaxed.

they were grateful to be at the inn on this day, shaking their head, they moved their foot, spinning around on the heel of their foot they stopped, the can slipping from their finger tips and flopping to the floor with a clanky thud! as they were met faced to face with a familiar amber-eyed male, eyes widening from the sudden shock that washed through their veins.
