Sunday morning, I woke up early to go to the flower shop. I wanted to stop by at my grandmother's grave, it's been a month since I haven't visited.
"The french hydrangea, the white ones please. Actually, mix them with the white roses, thank you" I smiled at the lady arranging the flowers.
"Here you go, dear" The lady smiled at me as she handed the flowers. I payed for the flowers, thanked her, then left.
I finally arrived at Greenwood Cemetery, and parked.
"Goodmorning, my beautiful Nonna" I smiled as I placed the flowers on top of my grandmother's grave. I call her Nonna ever since I was little. "I know it's been a while since I haven't visited, but your daughter's business is going so well, in fact, she just won an award! From small business to a building, just amazing. Dad's also doing well on his job, the hotel's going great, 2 more hotels have been added to another city. They're having the best life already. Lucas got into the varsity team 2 weeks ago, and I'm still top 1 in class" I chuckled. "I hope you're proud of us up there, we miss you... a lot"
I probably was there for 2 hours, talking about how life was for me. She was always there when I needed her, when my parents were busy, she was always there to cheer me up, cook me meals, tell me stories she made, watch my favourite movies with her, and watch me on stage receiving medals, certificates, and even trophies.
I had to eventually go because Shayla and I planned on hanging out for the day. Rielle and Madison are busy, so they couldn't come.
As I was about to open my car door, someone called out my name. "Dahlia?" I turned around to see who it was, and once again, Wolfhard.
"Finn" I sighed and fixed my posture. "What brings you here?" Such a stupid question. It's a cemetery, of course he's visiting the dead.
"A friend" He gave me a small smile. "You?"
"Grandma" I responded.
"Ahh, I see. Well, see you around?"
"Right" I gave him a soft smile and sat on my car seat to start the engine.
By tomorrow, I went to a cafe after school, the cafe was super far but their food there are worth the gas prices.
"One cinnamon too, please" I said and smiled at the lady on the counter.
And once again, I heard a familiar voice. "Cappuccino too, please, thank you" It was Finn, again.
"Actually, can I take out the two instead?" I told the lady while I was panicking. I'm sick of being in the same room with him again, like this cafe is 45 minutes away from campus, and yet he's still here!
"But ma'am, the frappuccino is already in the mug" She explained.
"Then you guys can have it, I'll pay for another one to take out, please" I said. I'll do anything to take that out, as long as I won't be in the same room as him outside campus. I hate meeting people from school outside the campus.
I received my food and was ready to go out, until I heard a sentence I will forever hate. "Macarons and cappuccino for Finn Wolfhard, ready to take out" And then he passed by me, holding a paperbag.
I wanted to fucking scream right on the spot!
Tuesday. I stopped at the mall at night to buy products for my skincare, I can't miss a night without putting those on, or else my acne would go back.
"Total would be $214, cash or debit?" The lady on the counter said.
"Debit" I smiled at her as I pulled out my card.
"Seriously, pick something already! Your girlfriend would appreciate anything you get for her" I heard someone complain, I turned around and yet again, Finn Wolfhard. Why is it always him?
The lady gave me the paperbag and I walked passed by them. "Expensive perfume"
"I- uh.. thanks?" Nick raised his hand.
Then for the following days, I kept on bumping into him in the same places. I also went to different cafes I have never been to, somehow, the universe always finds a way for us to meet. My dad's hotel, my mom's salon, the bowling place, bar, and many other places.
It's like we're going in circles, but with different places.

Sunday is the day people visit their loved ones in the cemetery, so I would always visit my friend every sunday. I'm the only one who visits him weekly, others are just too busy to do that or just not interested on going.
He was a great friend, such a great friend. He was one of the smartest students in school, and would compete at different countries. He's buried here in New York, since his family lives here, he just goes to Canada for school and live with his grandparents. He says his dream school was there, but cancer fucked his whole life up.
I arrived at Greenwood Cemetery, shocked to see only a few people were there, I only saw like 4 people.
"Hey there buddy" I smiled and placed flowers on top of his grave. Michael Andy Peterson.
4 minutes in and I already heard someone sobbing. I looked around and saw a girl crying, sitting on the grass, in the next section on the left.
She turned around and it was Dahlia, the Dahlia from class. I wanted to approach her and comfort her, but who am I to do that? She already said we weren't close, we just... interact.
"Dahlia?" I said in the parking lot, atleast I can check up on her for a bit.
Turned out she was crying infront of her grandmother's grave, seems like she loves her very much.
The next day, I wanted to go to a cafe I used to go to when I was little. My parents would pick me and my brother up from school and would drive us there, it was our favourite cafe. My mom wasn't pregnant with Sarah that time yet.
"Hello, good afternoon, can I please have the set B macarons to take out? Thank you" I said to the lady at the counter as I took my card out from my wallet.
"One frappuccino, then One cinnamon too, please"
I heard a lady's voice that sounded familiar to me, I didn't really mind it anyways.
Tuesday, I just got home from school, I arrived at night since I stayed longer inside campus to study at the library.
"Finn, can you please help me pick a gift for Yasmin? Her birthday's coming up and I don't know what to give her" My brother said after rushing to me when I stepped inside.
"Your girlfriend, your problem. Plus, how can you not know what your girlfriend likes?" I rolled my eyes.
"She doesn't mention her wants or needs"
In the end, I got into his car and drove up to the mall. We ended up inside a beauty store, kind of weird for us to enter without a girl with us.
"Lipstick? I'm not even sure what kind of shade she likes" He said after picking up hundreds of random lipsticks. "Lipgloss? I don't think she wears those. Oh! How about foundation? No, I don't know any of those things, what shade does she even use? Do you think she needs a new eyeliner?"
"Seriously, pick something already! Your girlfriend would appreciate anything you get for her" I complained. We're already here for an hour and my feet already hurts.
"Expensive perfume" A lady walked pass by us and I turned around to look who it was, the lady was Dahlia, again.
"I- uh.. thanks?" My brother stuttered. "Isn't she Mrs. Emery's daughter?"
"She is"
