💚Monika x Male Reader🤍-Poem Ideas(Requested)

This was requested back in February while I was on break so I didn't see it until yesterday I'm sorry! This was requested by @destructordestroyer! I hope you enjoy it! ^^

Monika POV: 

I was sitting at one of the desks in the Literature Club working on a new poem for tomorrow's contest. I wanted to win this year like every year, but something was wrong I couldn't get any good ideas for my poem. 

I sighed and looked out of the window, it was such a pretty day out. I wish I could be with my boyfriend right now y/n. He's so fun to hang out with and always gives me good poem ideas. Just then I heard a knock at the door. 

I assumed it was just a teacher or a janitor, "Come in!" I called out but when the door opened I saw it was y/n! I jumped up and ran over to him. I embraced him with a warm hug. I took in his scent of roses and tea. 

We were still hugging, y/n took my chin in his warm hand and lifted my head up to face him. "You missed me that much Monika?" He chuckled. I felt all warm and fuzzy inside when he said that I love him dearly. 

Y/n POV:

I was staring into Monika's emerald eyes she smiled sweetly at me and I smiled back at her. Monika broke the hug and walked over to a desk and sat down. "So what brings you here honey?" I loved when Monika called me that. 

"I just came to check on you, that's all. You know I get worried about you Moni." I said flustered. Monika giggled at me. "Your so overprotective y/n, I love that about you." Monika smiled sweetly. 

"So honey, I was wondering if you could give me some poem ideas for this year's contest, I'm stuck on what to write about." Monika said "You the Monika asking me for poem advice? How rare!"

I giggled "Y/n not now!" Monika sounded frustrated. I walked over to Monika and kneeled down beside her. "I'll try my best to help you okay?" I looked up at her. "Thank you, sweetie," she whispered. 

Monika POV:

"So y/n what are your poem ideas?" I asked him, I hope he comes up with something good. "Well Moni, I think you should write about our love and put it into figurative language."  He looked at me with curious eyes. 

Probably wondering if I was going to use his idea or not, which I'm going to. "Oh my darling, you come up with the best ideas ever!" I leaned over and kissed the top of his head leaving him a blushing mess. 

"Thank you Moni, I enjoy helping you." y/n looked over at me and blushed some more. 

"Now, let's get to writing this poem!"
