Okay... back up a minute. Tap the breaks. Pause the film. Do... whatever.

Harry Potter? As in THE Harry Potter. One of my friends Harry Potter. Chosen as a champion for the Triwizard Tournament?

Every head turned to Harry. There was no applause, only a buzzing, like angry bees were ready to swarm Some students even stood to get a better look at Harry. But Harry was frozen in his seat. And who could blame him for that?

The rest of the Gryffindor table all watched him, open mouthed.

"Harry? Did you-" I asked.

"No." Harry answered. "I swear I didn't."

I nodded. He sounded sincere about it too. Ryan looked puzzled, Ron and Hermione didn't do anything but stare blankly back.

"Harry Potter!" Dumbledore called again. "Harry! Up here, if you please!"

"Go on." Hermione whispered, giving Harry a slight push.

I looked at Bea, who looked so confused as to all of it. "Beatrice?" I asked.

"Kassie. Go find Cedric." Beatrice told me. "Now."

While everyone was so distracted and looking at Harry. I quickly slipped into the side door.

The door outside the Great Hall led to a small room, lined with paintings of Witches and Wizards. A handsome fire is roaring in the fireplace opposite us. But I had no time to admire it.

Viktor Krum, Cedric, and Fleur Delacour were all grouped around it.

Fleur noticed me first. "Who is ze little girl?" She asked me. I wasn't offended by her words, because I certainly felt like a little girl in that moment.

"Cedric!" I yelled running towards him.

"Kassie?" Cedric asked as he turned around. "What are you doing here?"

"Cedric, something's happened. It's the Goblet of Fire." I told him panting and nervously.

"What? What happened?" Cedric asked.

"It c-chose another name." I answered. "It's got to be a m-mistake. It has to be."

"Woah. Slow down, Kassie." Cedric slowed me down. "You said it chose another name?" He asked me.

"Yeah. Harry." I told him. "But he never pulled his name."

"Harry got selected by the Goblet?" Cedric asked me confused. "But how did he-"

"He didn't." I answered. "I don't know how it got in there."

Cedric put his head down. Pondering in deep thought. "And you're sure about this?" He asked me.

"I was there, Cedric." I answered. "But-"  But then I heard someone coming down.

"Hide." Cedric told me. "Let's see what comes of this."

I saw Harry come down the stairs as I hid behind one of the shelves and out of sight.

Ludo Bagman entered the room. He took Harry by his arm and lead him forward.

"Extraordinary!" He muttered. "Absolutely extraordinary! Gentlemen... lady." He addressed the others. "May I introduce incredible though it may seem- the fourth champion."

Krum straightened up, his face darkened. Cedric looked non phased, for the most part. Fleur, however tossed her hair aside and chuckled.

"Oh, very funny joke, Monsieur Bagman."
